I started with jewelry, switch to LVs 4 years ago. After buying over 30 LVs in the last 4 years, I am going to stop for a long time as LV's price increases are insane. Now, I am going to focus on increasing my Tiffany & Co collection.

I was a purse person a couple of years ago. I have a few Hermes and Chanel purses but the one I used most is a Chanel classic handbag in black lambskin with gold hardware, carry her almost everyday -- she is the best fashion investment.
I love diamonds and gemstones. I travel and move from place to place . It is easier for me to carry a few essential jewelry and put in a separate pouches. Handbags need too much spaces :D

Well-said.

I'm finding it really difficult to justify purchasing a handbag these days. There's 1 LV I have my eye on, but then, when I give it some serious consideration, I'd rather spend the $2200 towards a vacation or piece of jewellery kwim??

OMG this is exactly what I was saying to a friend today!

In fact I was talking about the Fendi baguette and the Chloe Paddington, remember when they were the hottest thing ever?
Now it's all about Celine. We were looking at the bags and admittedly they are very nice, but I can't imagine myself holding them after a few years.
I also can't compare any product with wonderful experiences I can share with my loved ones. I prefer investing in travel and making beautiful memories with the ppl I'm close to. When I die I want my last thought to be about those experiences, not about bags and clothes.
As for jewelry, I also believe they make a bigger impact than other accessories and if one chooses wisely they are forever.;)
