I checked my bag and it looks just like yours. I think it’s normal the top corner as it’s where the piping and canvas meet...my little pochette looks like that on the side. I’m going to try stuffing it but it may go away with your items in it...I don’t think there is anything wrong with it ...I’m probably going to keep mine. Looks much better than the speedy I received.....
When I try to push the inner lining down, it encounters quite a bit of resistance. As if it’s sewn in a way that’s a bit crooked? Not sure of I am making sense.
just received my btp multi pochette in blue and i see the same puckers and stitch holes on the smaller pochette. i also feel like when i clip the smaller piece to the larger one, it has to be pulled a bit to reach the d rings. is anyone else experiencing this? it is almost like the smaller one almost can't reach rings they need to clip onto. i can make it work but it is stretched a bit. anyone else????
I was able to find a better MultiPA in blue, but had to go thru the motions of stalking and returning. Did you exchange yours?
I was able to get the dent out by working the canvas.
but i found a fibre that got glazed into the Canvas! So ordered a new one to see if it will be better. Really hope the new one will be better.
Did you have to go through many bags?

yes mine was like this, I ended up selling as the pouches felt so thin and cheap
Luckily, the replacement was MIF and better than the first one. Keep trying. I do see them come avail around 8pm -ish, EST. Since there's a 30 day deadline, you may be better off sending it back, esp. now since you seem to be finding more issues with it. The season is still early, so I hope you will be able to find a near-perfect one, especially for this price !!
Oh, and they sent the 2nd MPA set jammed into a very small box, so when it arrived it looked like a crumpled mess
. I held the wrinkled canvas areas over a blow-dryer on low setting, until it all smoothed away !!

I do think some of the issue is due to the way it is stored. My first one was crammed also. I am glad I was able to straighten a lot of the kinks out. That small fibre though is not something that can be removed grrrr.

I just ordered the mpa yst in mist and waiting to find the blue one online to compare which color I like better. I’ll let u guys know when the mist arrives.
I have the mono mpa I got in summer 2019. Attached are some photos below for comparison. In the smaller pochette you can see some puckering on the left:
@luvspurses - not sure if this would help but at first I had the smaller pochette buckled to the large clasp so I found it harder to get in. Then after I attached the smaller pochette to the circle rings of the large one. Photos below where you can see it droops more when the smaller pochette is hung on the circle rings:
