By the pool Multi Pochette in mist quality issues

Hi dears, finally got my hands on this lovely piece. But there are some alignment and canvas issues. I am not sure if this is typical for the MPAs? The canvas also feels very thin and not lined up flush with the inner lining. Anyone else with this issue?
Should I exchange it?

Yes !!!! I agree ! I bought both colors. Both Made in France. The Bleu one has very tight stitching on one of the corners, with the stitch hole noticeable, and I fear tearing of the canvas....and we all know, LV will NOT repair canvas tears. The Mist one is similar to yours, but no tight stitches, the canvas is just a tad fuller on one side, but when filled, it's not too noticeable. I find so many issues with the MPA style in general, that I have a love-hate relationship with it. The By The Pool is a rare release, so I'm still deciding if it's enough to make me overlook these obvious issues. My Mist OnTheGo is flawless, however, and I'm happy with it.

I love this collection! Got the toiletry 26 as well. But that one is leather lol.
I obsessed over youtube videos and noticed the dent in the corner on lots of other MPAs. I do think the piping is not as straight either. I feel like I should exchange it. But also worried new one will also have the same issues

It wasn't me who posted the YouTube videos, probably some other LV fanatic who bought both combos. I'm pretty much just a tpf-er and don't do other media except some FB LV pages. Exchanging it will be difficult, as there is nothing in stock, unless you have a dedicated SA in a high-volume store who will hold onto a flawless one for you. Good luck and update on what happens !

In my case, I've already received a quote from a reseller for the stuff I don't like on the set, and am considering just keeping the near-perfect pochette, since the colors are sublime !! An exchange would be great, but like I said, may be hard if they don't restock. I 'm hoping more is released like the Escale collection from 2020, I remember seeing major pieces late in the Summer!

Going to go talk to my SA about it on Tueaday. My exact concern would be the issue with restocking and not being able to get another one. Sigh. I will see if putting an insert in would help. I absolutely LOVE the design though.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I had the plain mono canvas and it was the same. I sold it as I didn't like how thin the canvas is. I imagine the painted ones like this would feel a bit thicker

It feels pretty thin to me still. I haven’t felt the monogram one so not too sure if this feels thicker. With your monogram one. Did the inner lining seem misaligned with the outer canvas shell?

I have similar to that on my by the pool speedy. There are puckers or dents near the piping. I don’t know if its more noticeable because of the lighter color of the canvas. I am not sure if I should return the bag or not.....

It just seems so disappointing as these bags aren’t exactly cheap . I think it depends on if it bugs you or not. I thought about mine a lot the past couple of days. And i think I do want to order in another one without giving up my current one and choose between the 2.

I know....I can’t decide yet if I will keep but disappointing...I better check my bag as I just received that bag...ugh! I know it’s common on speedys but I think it stands out more because of the light color of the canvas.

Yeah that could be it. I watched so many videos and looked at so many photos of the MPA in monogram. They have dents too but doesn’t seem that bad coz of the darker colour.

I didn't feel anything unusual with the lining, how do you mean misaligned with the outer shell?
