Airbrushing? Are you kidding me? All it takes is a good camera and finding the right lighting. Lighting is everything when photographing Balenciaga bags. The hardest I've ever tried to capture was anthracite. It drives me crazy. I have to try in several lights, different angles, then hold the bag up to the photos on the computer to find the one that is almost identical to what is seen with the naked eye. Taking pictures of anthracite and capturing the real color of the bag is enough to drive one mad.![]()

But I know what you mean about difficulty in getting an accurate image. I'm taking pictures right now of a sculpture that will be in Art in America in the summer and we are doing every trick imaginable to make it look like it really looks in real life. The straight photo doesn't look anything like the real sculpture.
