Airbrushing? Are you kidding me? All it takes is a good camera and finding the right lighting. Lighting is everything when photographing Balenciaga bags. The hardest I've ever tried to capture was anthracite. It drives me crazy. I have to try in several lights, different angles, then hold the bag up to the photos on the computer to find the one that is almost identical to what is seen with the naked eye. Taking pictures of anthracite and capturing the real color of the bag is enough to drive one mad.

Definitely was kidding. Those bag of yours are just plain TDF.

But I know what you mean about difficulty in getting an accurate image. I'm taking pictures right now of a sculpture that will be in Art in America in the summer and we are doing every trick imaginable to make it look like it really looks in real life. The straight photo doesn't look anything like the real sculpture.

Starting with 2003 black. (Have we even seen one of these in the Bal forum??) This saggy drapey lusciousness would be enough but then the pewter ………who wouldn’t kill to have this bag?
And that 2007 Anthracite is so distressed and, as you put it, ‘bubbly’ it looks like alligator and somehow Sandstone is doing the same thing. How can these be so broken in and stay near mint?
Another extremely rare specimen, 2002 s/s Olive flat brass Hobo is creating heart attacks right here in this very forum. CJ had to be sedated.
Both 2005 Turquoise and 2004 Eggplant are arguably THE most vivid and rich colors Bal has produced and yours are in full glory

You have so many Holy Grails in just this one lineup that you have reduced Monty Python to tears. And the rest of us as well.
AND I know you have more.
