You made an awesome choice! I have a black leather duffle and it is one of my favorites! Especially since you like being practical. This bag will never go out of style and it looks awesome with jeans and goes with dresses just as well. Great choice!!!

I think you made an excellent choice by going with the leather. First - you got an excellent deal. Second - it sounds like you need something a little more durable than fabric. Leather ages well and looks good even when it gets a little worn around the edges.

I saw a lot of very sad looking signature bags this weekend - I went to a mall - something I rarely do. I saw so many signature Coach Bags (all styles I know - looking very authentic to me) but all of the khaki colored signature fabrics were FILTHY - as in dirty. I can understand if someone just has one good bag they'd want to use it all the time. But why do so many end up looking like they've been dragged accroos the floor (maybe they have.)

Anyway - you have Coach = you have cool. (If I do say so myself!) And as others have said you can add a charm or scarf when you want to spice it up - you can even change them with the seasons.
