i was a chanel person before I discovered that the retail price of a chanel bag was roughly comparable to the preloved price of an hermes bag. This was years ago Before prices rose to the stratosphere. My tastes slowly changed from chanel to hermes. And from gold hardware to palladium. I originally got into a wide variety of Chanel Bags bc I loved the RTW. After I tried hermes, I stopped wearing much chanel. I gave my mom at least three that I recall: a Classic medium; cerf bag; and PST and disn’t miss them. i also gererally prefer hermes etoupe to chanel beige, though I still love chanel espadrilles. I did keep two metallic Chanel reissues, and I got a so black mini chevron reissue rrecently. I don’t wear the mini much either, but it’s good for future nights out with jeans and t shirts.

My lifestyle is mainly jeans and flats. . . its pretty subjective. . . Yu should wear what you love. Although oddly, I love gucci Marmont shoes, and am thinking about a small crossbody, so maybe I will make my way back to chanel at some point

Yes, I’m here in southern Arizona. We have increased number of cases since reopening, I don’t go out much neither, only to the grocery stores and church occasionally. (Our church is so empty now, definitely safe. )

I have found small cross body Chanel bags being very easy to wear to those places , if you are thinking about giving Chanel another chance.
