:hugs:@EpiFanatic The curved shape really does make the butterfly come alive! In pics it may look flat like the other butterfly BTF rings but irl, that curved, polished surface makes so much of a difference to the ring.

@NK321 it has been almost two years since I got my white mop/pave butterfly ring and it’s one of my most worn rings (you only have to look at the gazillion pics I post of it on TPF wearing it:biggrin:). Despite its constant use, it looks brand new. I am careful with my jewelry but not overly so. I am careful not to bang the ring against hard objects but I can’t lie that I haven’t washed my hands a few times while wearing the ring! Oopsie! But, happy to report nothing bad happened to it. I think it’s the polished coating on it unlike other mop pieces that gives it a protective layer.
I was in your position two years back wondering which one to add - Frivole pave or the butterfly ring. I was determined to buy only one but like they say, man proposes and god disposes :biggrin:.. I bought the Frivole pave BTF ring first and couldn’t stop thinking about the butterfly ones so had to grab those too. At least I went to ban island sporting my ultimate BTF rings in each hand! Lol!

I obviously love and wear BOTH rings. All I can say is it’s a matter of which one you want to get first because no matter which you get first, you will always want the other one too!

Gorgeous as always!! So helpful to know that the butterfly MOP ring is durable. My experience with regular, non-polished VCA MOP (my vintage ring) is that it’s ok to occasionally get it wet as long as it dries very quickly after, so I’m not as concerned about the fact that the butterfly BTF ring has MOP. I just love the MOP coloring together with the rose gold and diamonds! I hear you on getting suckered into both :) thank you so much for the beautiful pics too, really helpful to compare the two directly side by side. They are so different and exquisite in their own unique ways <3 I love the gold definition and whimsical nature of the butterfly BTF ring and I bet the pave would be amazing to look at all day with so many sparkles! Hard to decide and still unsure which one to get first!

Ah I know what you mean! It’s just such pretty and unique ring, and I think generally flattering on the fingers because of the space between the butterflies. I do think it can be worn a bit more casually, at least by way of drawing a little less attention. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I appreciate it and will keep everyone updated!

So if you have a lot of events and occasion you can use the frivole, i will vote for frivole. It is a very unique statement piece. You can wear it on a regular day too if you dress up just a little bit to match it.

If i were you, i will get the frivole first to get the wow effect and it can be used for some important occasions. Butterfly you can always get later. But i am sure you will end up with both haha

Such great advice!! I appreciate it a lot <3 haha yes MOP is a little tricky but I’m so used to taking my other vintage MOP ring off (or other pretty rings) whenever I need to wash my hands that I’m used to it by now :). Also because my fingers are sensitive to rashes if I don’t properly dry off water around a ring. Btw I love your gorgeous white gold collection!!! <3 so beautiful! maybe one day after I get through my gold/rose gold cravings I will dream of a white gold collection haha :)

I know exactly what you mean! I’ve been wondering when I would, if ever, be satisfied with a “complete” collection, too many beautiful pieces :)

Also, as you play around with it, flip it and try wearing it with the larger flower towards the middle of your finger to see if you like it that way. I think it packs more of a punch on the hand overall that way vs. the larger flower near the pinky. It's all preference of course, but try it and see what you prefer.

The ring is so sparkly and pops on you! Congratulations again!

I can’t stop staring at her :smile: I’m sure the novelty will wear off soon, but for now, wow I really am enjoying the extra sparkles on my finger. Here she is worn the other way around.. what do you think? It is nicer to be closer to the bigger flower so you can see it clearly!

I love it this way! It follows the natural shape of the hand and fingers, and the ring really pops.
It's like the flowers are on a mountain top, two flowers, in the middle of your hand. The eye first goes to the larger flower in the center, then the eye spans out to see the bloom; it's so beautiful.

Nope...the novelty will not wear off! :biggrin: :heart: You will love it everytime you see it.
When my husband is driving and I am in the passenger seat, for fun, I like to look at the ring from the side view mirror (or any mirror). It is so stunning when see from that perspective, reflected through a mirror.

Give it a shot for fun... go to your bathroom mirror now! :nuts::heart: Then next time you are in the car, check out the side view mirror. You will not get tired of this ring.

I am thrilled for you. What matters most is that you love it. The Frivole ring is so gorgeous and sparkly and looks amazing on you. Hard to tear your eyes away from it. Congratulations!!
