Yes, the O ring clips in to open. The Crossbody strap and thicker strap can be removed entirely.

Ladies, I am a bit late to the party but how much does this briddle purse weigh? Love the look but I'm afraid it will make my shoulder sore.
Why do you want to sell it? Did you just fall out of love, or was it impractical?
I was looking for a thread about this because I am also considering buying the bridle bag. I love it! I think it will always remain quite classic as it is very equestrian, British and Burberry-esque. I have tried it on in the shop and didn’t think it was too heavy.

I was trying to find out more but couldn’t find anything on tpf. Looked at a YouTube review and so I went ahead and ordered it! 1st order got cancelled as stock no longer available. Fingers crossed I get my 2nd order fulfilled! Will give my thoughts on this if I get it. Just love the design online.
Fingers crossed for you! It is a beautiful bag. Which size and colour combination did you go for? I went to the Burberry store recently and they had them there so I could see them in real life- they are just as nice. I think they must be discontinuing them though as I went to Selfridges and Harrods more recently and neither store had them anymore. I’m looking forward to your update!

Love it!! Is that grained leather? I was worried that I would scratch the smooth leather one.
Do you think it will stand the test of time or be a fad bag?
It is deerskin grained leather so it should be worry free. I initially ordered the same one as the 1st poster but it ran out of stock [emoji45]
The design reminds me a bit of the Hermes Jypsiere but more functional. I can see myself using this quite a bit as I’m looking for a decent and stylish casual bag.
I think this might be seasonal bag from one of the runway shows. Design looks good.

Updating this thread for future TPF reference. I did receive the bridle bag and it’s beautiful!
It’s smaller than I envisioned but the deerskin is so soft and supple. It is more of a shoulder bag with 2 straps - one short strap possibly in bridle hard leather and a longer shoulder strap. It can be carried cross-body but I find it’s a bit on the short side.
Front flap contains an interior compartment with an open pocket. Back flap is magnetized and has a zipper pocket. Very functional bag can be dressed up or down.
Can fit a mini iPad but not the full sized iPad. Made in Italy
