I'm currently living in Japan, and would be happy to answer any questions I can about Burberry Blue Label. The price-point of Blue Label is, in fact, lower than classic Burberry, but it's also a younger target market. One of my major complaints with Burberry, apparel-wise (although not so much with Burberry Prorsum these days), is that many of the cuts are too wide for my frame. Well, Blue Label features narrow cuts and more youthful silhouettes. It's available in most major department stores in metropolitan Japan; I can think of about four stores in Minami Osaka alone that carry it.

Black Label for men is for Burberry menswear what Blue Label is for women. It was originally intended to be a lower price point, as well (ties can be as much as 50 or 100 USD less than in Burberry classic), but the previous poster was correct in saying that some items are more expensive. (Right now, there's a line of Black Label billfolds that are priced slightly higher than their classic counterparts.) The cuts are also pretty narrow, so the clothing, although fantastic, isn't always a great match for American men.

One of the best things about Blue Label, in my opinion, is that I know that my bag will be unique when I carry it in the United States. Of course, some people might incorrectly assume that the bag is fake, because they don't recognize it, but since I only have only ever bought directly from boutiques and department stores, I know that it's real and a closer inspection would reveal to the doubtful that my Blue Label accessories (and clothing) are indeed high quality and original goods.

I think that Blue Label is the strongest when it releases goods for the summer or resort seasons. Their sandals, hats, and summer totes are inexpensive and charming! If you are coming to Japan, this is one brand that is actually a value here! ;)

Does that mean that when I usually wear a size 6 (British 8) I need an 8 (British 10) when I want to wear Blue Label clothes?
