Bumbag in monogram discontinued?

I have been on the fence deciding if I want to purchase one. Can anyone share the known flaws? Trying to decide if I should put in the time to score one online or at least contact the concierge. Also wondering if they will end up releasing an updated version.
it’s the cracking on the side of the bumbag when you kind of fold it in at the top. If you go and YouTube they discuss it there and show you where. It’s a hit and miss but definitely know issue. Some have it some don’t so hard to know. That’s been my pet worry when deciding to buy this bag or not

I think LV is seeking to discontinue as many canvas bags as possible. The bumbag is low hanging fruit. The zipper design can be problematic and it’s more of a trend piece.

Over the next few years I expect we will see many more canvas bags discontinued. For example, I think there is a good chance the neverfull will no longer be available in canvas. I think the bumbag is just the start.

It's funny you say this. My main CA said something to this effect to me once, in an off-handed kind of way. She keeps things close to the vest so I didn't press, and to be honest, I thought maybe I misunderstood her (like, maybe she was saying that eventually LV wants to prioritize leather in all styles, which is a different thing than discontinuing canvas across styles).

But where we see LV moving way from its storied roots, who knows, LV market research is probably more focused on how to capture market share from Chanel and Hermes on the handbag front and from Van Cleef & Arpels and others on the jewelry front.
