My SA sent in the bracelet to service department and try to tighten the gap. She also told me that the gap may open again as this is normal wear and tear for the semi paved bracelet. But for no diamond and full diamond ones do not have such issue. Not sure why though... I'll update here again when I received it back.
Oh good to hear that they sent it in to service. I hope they kan fix it. I have my eye on the serpenti bracelet semi or paved, not sure yet what I will choose.

Thanks for the update!

Thank you for sharing. Maybe the diamonds on the head and tail shift weight outward with wear; hence the growing gap.

Hi all, my SA advised that this is not defect or damage and the gap in between head and tail is normal condition. To close the gap, there is a service fee of $120 as this is not manufacturing defect.

Did they mention if this was common for the plain version (no diamonds)?

Thank you. I wonder if wearing it 24/7 would help because it would have less stretching of the bracelet?
Ive worn mine almost daily for the past two years. No decernible widening, though it is perhaps more sturdy, being thicker, than the viper. I take it off daily. It doesn’t feel like the coil is super resistant to being manipulated, but it retains its shape once it’s on. This is the discontinued serpenti tubogas. I wouldn’t recommend wearing any of these 24/7 bc of wear and tear from sleeping or showering, but JMO. Pic from this am.

ETA: I do have the semi pave viper ring, and there is no change. It seems particularly resistant to stretch, stronger than the tubogas, although that might be the nature of a ring versus bracelet (even though I’ve tried to pull it apart a bit — i prefer a looser fit in the summer lol)

You might want to ask your SA if you can try a new viper bracelet to compare resistance…. Regardless, I would rather tighten it now rather than wait.

Anyone has issue with Rose gold serpenti bracelet discoloration or rodium wear off? I sent in for service due to small spots appearing all over bracelet after few times of wearing. They did free diagnostic and cleaning. Spots disappeared. Now 7 months later, bracelet is kept in original box and never wear once since the cleaning, spot came back again. At that time assistant mgr said it could be from lotion or parfume. But for sure that is not the case since I did not wear it since the cleaning.

No issue whatsoever here. Sorry to hear that this happened to your bracelet! Can you post a picture of the spots?

No diamonds one does not have this gap issue. Seems like only the semi paved one due to the weight at the head and tail.. i'm asking the SA to check with her service department if I can do anything to avoid the gap goes bigger.
I’ve had my semi pave Serpenti viper bracelet for more than a year now. I take it off daily… no gap between head and tail at all. Still very tight fit.
