Bulgari Serpenti Bag. Is It Worth It?

I never heard of a high level item being glued ; i thought it would just be stitched very well. Especially as they claim to be handmade in limited quantities.

I don't know what the deal is or what is confusing here on high level item being glued in or during the making process.
The glue I meant is similar to the video making of lady dior, link below.

The edges are glued?! I never read or saw anywhere that bulgari glues their bags? That is really shocking!
Can anyone with bulgari bags help- is this true?
@TraceySH any insight?
Bags made with exotic skins usually are glued to a frame or leather support, then stitched, because exotics are thinner-skinned than calf or goat leather & precision placement is required to align the patterns of the skin. There is nothing shocking or unusual about this. Nor does it mean inferior quality. Bags made of fine, thin leather placed over a wood support also are glued: Bottega Veneta has a number of these among their models.

I do not see a single shred of evidence in any of mine that glue has been used. That would be shocking if they used glue. The bags above aren’t touted as handmade bags (lady Dior or BV) but bvlgari are all handmade 100%. I will ask because I am now curious.

I don't see glue in mine either; i wonder what made the previous poster think it's glued?
Lmk what you find out!

Congrats!! Which color did you decide on? Hope it will arrive soon, and please share photos!! I have been enjoying her a lot, carrying her to day trip etc... I did mention on an earlier post that I put leather condition on so it helps prevent some water/stain.
I decided to go with the cream colour one. I was a little worried about colour transfer but it’s such a statement bag so l likely won’t carry it regularly. I haven’t even seen it in person yet but from what I’ve seen online it is stunning!

?!
Why only in July and the bag is sold out in many countries and customers tried to order and my store either transfers unsold stock from other countries and they actually rejected many orders of the limited edition piece.

The lambskin is super soft and even on black, you see some scuffs here and there. The lighter colors would need extra tlc.
I’m not quite sure…I placed a deposit on it last week and was told by my SA that it should be coming in July. I’m from Canada…so I’m not sure if that’s a factor…

We are bag twins then! I carried her often with the long chain strap, and it's very versatile. The SA explained that the chain strap is made just like their jewelries so you can really feel the craftsmanship/quality is superb. I hope you'll receive your bag soon, and please share your photos!!

Glue is being used on all high end leather pieces as needed to make sure that the different leather pieces do not separate. It's not thick craft glues and shouldn't be visible. You can clearly see it in this video at the 2:30 mark. Many brands also use stabilizers (like plastic or foam panels, or sometimes reinforced leather, metal or I suppose woodfor hardcover pieces...) inside of the bags to provide structure. That is evident in the Dior video (like inside the handle).

I had no idea before watching these videos.
Learned something new!

Thank you! I almost went breathless on the "glue" discussion.
Its a fact I did see some glue excess and the SA removed it with her nail but didn't removed it all on the Mary katranzou serpenti bag and she didn't even dare continue fearing she scratched the bag.
