Bulgari bags

Bulgari and Cartier are both jewellery brands that have moved into leather goods.

Both are very much luxury items with prices of £500 - £1000+, but the quality is top drawer. Good quality zips, super soft leather, and real attention to detail in the linings and finishes.

But are they fashionable? I think they are bought mostly by ladies in their 40s. But this could be because of price...

Maybe its a case of style being more important than fashion.

I think some of Bulgari bags are lovely for women. Especially the snakes. I would rather have the flap bag with the snake clasp than a Chanel bag. [emoji1]

I think bvlgari bags are made well. I have a leoni and it's held up well. I do like it much better than my chanel flap.

Currently obsessing over the Serpenti Viper bag I saw when picking up DH's Valentine's Day present. (The little one pictured was purchased later that day by DH for my gift. Our wonderful SA pointed him to it while keeping I'd been there a surprise.)

I just stopped by the store today and bought a Serpenti watch and didn't realize they had such beautiful bags....now I want one!! I definitely think the quality is just as good as Chanel, I just worry about how they hold their value. Can you only buy them in the boutiques?

I've seen them on the Selfridges site, but I think it's UK or EU delivery only.
