Brushed Finish Love Bracelet

Hi... I'm old..and I've been in the fine jewelry business a really long time. I kind of would lean towards caution on this finish.. I can't imagine it will wear better than fine polish.. I think initially it will show patina less, but in the long run, a lot of it will wear off to show regular patina.
Thank you for perspective. This is what I worry about. The regular love looks great with patina. Not sure how the matte version would look. Guess I’ll wait a while longer.

I just bought mine in Milan on vacation. I was expecting to fall in love with the white gold version and it just fell flat. It looked like gunmetal on me and both my best friend and the SA said it was very masculine leaning (on me). I ended up purchasing the yellow gold and love how ‘soft’ it looks.

Update- I had the bracelet engraved and it came back fully polished. I was offered a brand new bracelet (which I accepted), and we’re attempting engraving again, but with a note to not polish. Not sure if anyone else has thought about engraving the new bracelet, so I thought I would update everyone.

Wow! That blows my mind that they would polish a brand new brushed Love bracelet. It is helpful to see the after polishing photo on the brushed though.

I did ask a SA at the Tyson Center store about the after-sales services offered on the brushed finish, he said there wasn't anything available yet. Too bad there isn't a ceramic coating of some sort they could put over the brushed finish.

I love the brand, but their standards have ... in some, not all ways, gone to hell. That is just wild. Profoundly stupid.
Agreed. I barely wore the bracelet before sending it in for engraving so that it was *clearly new* and the serial would be easy to look up. It has been two months since the brushed version was released... how clumsy do the engravers think I am that it would require a refinishing!?
