I think everyone woman would love to have a 7 ct. e-ring, but I agree that it may be too big where people will think it's fake given that we are not celebrities. Also, I don't know if I can wear it on a daily basis. I guess I'm just being practical.

i think i'd love to try it on, just to see what a diamond that size looks like on my itty-bitty hands. I don't think any of the jewelry shops here carry anything that size.

I personally don't like any diamond where i can see a distinct difference in the facets no matter what the size (except an emerald cut) if i'm explaining that right. Like a bowtie in a stone, it drives me crazy. So because the sides of that stone look so different than the top and bottom sections i don't like it. I would have much preferred it cut as an emerald, cushion or cut as a modified brilliant radiant.

After seeing this post, I checked out some of the other recently purchased rings on Blue Nile and there are some 4ct and 5ct Rounds purchased for up to 150k. I can't imagine spending 150k at blue nile, sight unseen.

Nevermind "is it too big", but who puts a $95k stone in a $425 setting? i'd be more terrified that it'd fall out! If you could spring for that much for the stone, I'd think you'd spend a bit extra on a REALLY nice setting that is going to put your mind at ease regarding its safety!

I noticed that on this ring too, I don't care for it. A diamond can't be too big imho.
