I honestly wasn't bothered by the wavy bit...but I was thinking maybe that fringe dated the bag. the newer ones they made had either none or shorter. but I wanted an older one for the leather
If I take it off I an always put it back on. but if I cut it, I can't undo that
Thanks much for weighing in

did you have an old one? I don't know what vintage this was....lining is black with botkier logo in black all over.....

I had several Botkier bags in the past but never a Trigger. I've always liked it, though. You're right, removing the fringe is the most easily reversed option!

I just got an older purple Morgan bag, it's very pretty and very functional. Lots of pockets. Fantastic leather too.
I had a Jackie - I think same as Morgan w/o fringe. Nice lamb leather. Gave it to my sister because I had too many black bags and it wasn't getting used. but it was very functional.

Nordstrom is currently carrying an exclusive style of the Trigger so I would say yes, people are still buying them!

I was at the local consignment store yesterday. They had three Trigger bags. Two of them I think were priced around $89. They were in the section where they display designer bags.
In the non-designer section there was a trigger (brown) for $17. I couldn't understand it. The bag was in excellent condition. I believe it was a later one. No tassels, plain brown lining. I wondered if it could be fake but they were selling as "Botkier" on their tag.
I think the more expensive ones they had were probably produced later too. I had to think for a minute did I want another one but I passed on it.
