I'd say Bottega Veneta, Celine (although it has been a couple of years since my last purchase), and Delvaux. I also have a Mark Cross Dorothy and love it, but I recently bought and returned both a Grace and a Sara because I was underwhelmed by the quality. The Sara arrived from Farfetch with a large dent in it, and based on what I saw in the pre-loved market, the similar style Benchley is also prone to dents/caving in.

Silver lining, though--there are lots of very high quality, pre-loved older styles out there. One of my favorite bags is a Fendi Selleria Anna hobo, which I bought practically new and for a steal since it isn't so "in" anymore. As I'm also generally underwhelmed by new designs these days, I'm also focusing on styles that have been around for a long time and that the labels haven't messed up too much. My Delvaux Tempete is my favorite bag and is a style from the 60s, and I'm currently waiting on a Fontana Milano 1915 A bag, which is a style from the 50s (I'm really excited about this one!). So, while quality does seem to generally be lower, I'm not that upset about it because there is not much new that interests me anyway.

I'm back into my non designer produced in my country leather bags... the quality, and value is just better.

Now I am off to look at fount lol

I just got my third Fount bag (one is a wallet)IMG_8149.jpg. I’m lucky enough to live in Cleveland so I get to visit their boutique. It’s really heavenly. Let us know if you get one! Here’s my new Coventry bucket bag in Wolf - a charcoal gray color that’s hard to capture.
