Brand new monogram-black with blue canvas-any info?

Love the blue and black and I just bought the Amazon speedy with the blue and black canvas, but I'm on the fence about the style...it feels a little casual with the long handles. I like that it's practical but I wish it was in an alma or speedy style with handles and a cross body strap. For a close to $2500 purse it feels almost like they skimped on the black leather trim, using a matte calf and just having leather straps for the handles.
Hi friends! I just got the black/blue monogram in the Amazon PM "speedy" and I really LOVE it! At first I agree - I thought the strap was a little awkward since it only has a shoulder length of a very long cross body length, but I've found it to be a perfect bag that transitions from day to night in terms of size. I wear it on the shorter length. The bag is light but still has a beautiful structure -- sometimes a rare combo! And the shiny black canvas contrasted with the pop of blue is gorgeous.
I agree it's a little pricy for something in the LV speedy family but it's so unique and limited, I think it's worth the investment if you want a piece from this collection! Some photos of it in action are below from my IG @centralpurse.

I called LV today to check the availability of the Speedy Amazon PM. After calling 2 stores that showed it in stock, both had just sold. The last store showing it in stock had it. I'm having it shipped to arrive next week...the SA said the bag was distributed in very limited quantities because it's a limited fashion show release. He isn't sure if they will make more. I have to see it in person to decide. It looks really beautiful from the photos I've seen here on PF. I have the pochette so I know I'll love the color. We'll see...
I returned mine to the Ala Moana (Honolulu) boutique late last night. The canvas is gorgeous but I didn't like the leather trim and straps. It's a lovely fun bag but the matte black leather just didn't do it for me and I would've preferred it as a true speedy with handles and a cross body strap.
I've been trying to review pics on this site I have to see it in person...good to know though. I wish they would have put handles on it like a true Speedy though.
