I'm this close to having my restructed my collection to my own version of perfection.

I've tried so many styles, colors, hardwares, etc... and come to the conclusion that if it's not neutral and I can't carry it on my shoulder year-round, I just don't wear it. I travel a ton and usually have room in my luggage for only 2 handbags and a single clutch, so utility is very important to me.

My new mantra is: if I can't wear this bag with nearly everything in my closet - I'll regretfully pass.

Here's my current list of Balenciaga (I also carry a few PS bags and a lonely Alexander Wang). I am still going back and forth on the Works - I love them for carrying around town on day-long trips when I am home, but I can't wear them on my shoulder over a winter coat so they are useless to me for several months. AND, they are the only non-neutral bags left in my collection. Another limiter. But they are so pretty; I just can't decide...
