I need some box kelly experts help
My box kelly as shown in above pic...
I think its not a rouge h color
Seller was telling me its rouge h
But compare to some of other kelly
Color is different .. And more like plum..
I am so confused.... Seller was lying to me??

looks like rouge H to me...rouge H can look more brown or more red..it has varied over time

Agree. It looks like Rouge H to me. If you do a search there is a thread on how Rouge H has changed through the years. Sometimes it's brown, sometimes red, sometimes a purple/brown. What year is your Kelly?

How old is the kelly？it does look more brownish plum but depending on the year, plum may not be a very vintage colour...

This is my K32 sellier 1978 and she looks plum too! I include a family photo with other Rouge Hs to show the differences. Hope it helps. I LOVE this version and really glad to see another similar My Drag is 1964 - cherry shade, alligator Princesse from the 70's maybe and not sure about the Fonsbelle.
