:yes: That's what I figured... I'm so close to Somerset, that I will probably only end up hitting the other malls once, but it would be neat to compare... However, most of the time it seems I have to order whatever I want anyways!!

That's nice that 12 Oaks is getting a Nordstroms... I think its the most well rounded out of the department stores. I've only gone to 12 Oaks once, since I have to pass Somerset on the way there. :D That usually distracts me and I stop there.... 12 Oaks has a H&M though, so that's worth the trip for fun stuff!

JennyLauren - Macy's usually does have better selection & sales on Coach stuff, Nordies at SS demoted Coach to a wall!! Instead of having its own counter...

12-Oaks has H & M and Delia's...have you heard of it? Reminds me alot of Urban Outfitters, but only for girls. Sometimes I need to have a Penneys or a Sears, so I tend to go there more than Somerset. (for household stuff not my bags....lol)
My daughter loves to go into Tiffanys and pretend!! She did get a necklace from there for xmas, it was her "big" gift...She wants to walk the mall with the blue gift bag....just as much as she likes to carry her coach bag around the mall....

You are very right! Last year I was at Fairlane mall and decided to pop in to Lord and Taylor since they were having HUGE sales because they were closing that store. As I walked by the handbag dept I noticed a women holding up a signature shoulder tote ( white/ khaki) I went to the counter and asked the SA how much they were on sale for. well... they were 50% off and had 3 of them and two were already purchased waiting for their new owner to come back. I really wanted that purse esp for that price. I followed the women around the store hoping she would decide that she didn't want it, the friend I was with was frustrated at this point and actually approached the women and offered her 40 bucks to give up the purse! That didn't help... just made her want to keep it even more!! so needless to say I went back every weekend until the store closed looking for more bargains but came out empty handed!

Lucky girl there!! I would prance around the mall with a little blue gift bag too! ;) LOL.. yup, I've heard of Delia's - I used to get alot of clothes there when I was in HS, back in the days when I am pretty sure they just had a catalog, and - oh yeah, I could actually wear things from that store. *rolls eyes & sighs* My dance team girls got me a baby tee shirt from there as a gift last year, and the thought was extremely nice... but they got me a SMALL... I kind of just held it up and went :confused1: ... then promptly exchanged it for the same shirt in I think a Large or XL!!! So I could wear it in public...

That's the one thing about being all the way up here... there's not alot of household stuff here.. just Pottery Barn, Target, and furniture stores...:shrugs:

For my SE Michigan ladies, has anyone else seen that Target is carrying some signature Coach items. A Target near the Lakeside Mall has a few purses and wallets. Just wondering if you've also seen this or anyone else has seen this in the their areas? Not sure if they are black market and I haven't really taken a close look at them.

That is good to know! I wasn't sure since they were all selling for around $150, I thought that was odd to see!

Has anyone been to Birch Run lately? I'm thinking about making the drive up tomorrow to check the outlet before I make my spring purchases!

I was there a week ago, of course no signature, I just got a lanyard, and two key chains, nothing really thrilled me, the things going really cheap were the soho suede and some chelsea pebbled totes.

Coachnut, you were totally right about Birch Run. Pretty underwhelming. I did get a good deal on some leather gloves and a couple other things, but there wasn't really anything to write home about. :shrugs:
