I agree that BV's leather is the softest. Even though they are pricey they are worth the cost. Keep an eye at during sales at NM. I bought one of my BVs on sale.

Wow, you are so lucky to be able to get colours like that on sale. All I have seen on sale are the bright summer colours. Now if only Neimans accepted cards other than their own and Amex I would be calling them up this instant!

If you REALLY love it- as in more than your usual bag lust- and think that you'd use it for a long time, then it'd be worth it to get it. I'd also check out Bluefly- they recently got some new BV bags in. (There are a few more but these are the most appealing)

I found a Ball bag on sale, and have never regreted droping the cash. Honestly, one of the best purchases I've made. Keep your eyes peeled. Saks usually has great versions on sale, but they go so quick. I think earlier this season, the embossed hobos were on sale, even.
