Bobby vs. Saddle?

I tried all these bags yesterday at the boutique. My observations are as follows:
- The medium Bobby bag is smaller than expected. The size makes it not overly useful.
- The large Bobby bag is not a large bag. It is a useful size and comes with an adjustable Oblique patterned strap which is lovely.
- That large Bobby bag strap differs from the Oblique straps which you can purchase separately in that it is a) very adjustable with both an adjustable buckle in addition to adjustable tabs at each end and b) has shiny gold hardware. The Oblique straps that you can purchase separately have brushed gold hardware and are only adjustable at the tabs at each end, which is barely adjustable.
- The mini size Saddle bag has no real function due to its size. It was considerably smaller than expected. You can fit a key, some cash, a few credit cards, your driver's licence, one lipstick and maybe a compact.
- The medium Saddle bag is surprisingly functional in that it can fit in addition to all the above items, a small brush, a phone (depending on make/model) and more keys and/or a small wallet and possibly a few other cosmetic items. I took a picture with the Cloud Blue goatskin version which was the surprise frontrunner!

I agree that the medium Bobby is smaller then expected - when mine arrived at my house my first thought was whether I had been shipped the wrong size! But I tested both the Saddle and Bobby in my house with trying on/fitting my items in, and the Bobby definitely can hold a substantial amount more, but obviously less than some other similar-sized bags. I am with you though - the cloud blue saddle is SUCH a stunner, I still think about her a lot 
I decided to compromise since I am clearly lusting over the cloud blue goatskin combo by buying a saddle cardholder that I hope will satiate my desire to keep adding on to my collection (since im barely using any bags at all atm, sigh).
