Congratulations on your gorgeous blue Kelly!! At first i thought it (BH) was the same as Bleu electrique but side by by side, they are quite different!! Now I am a little behind in H leathers- what is evercolor? It looks so smooth like box. How are you liking it?

Congratulations on your gorgeous blue Kelly!! At first i thought it (BH) was the same as Bleu electrique but side by by side, they are quite different!! Now I am a little behind in H leathers- what is evercolor? It looks so smooth like box. How are you liking it?
I find bleu electrique to be a deeper blue than BH, with a touch of purple in it. Side by side, they look so different. My photo wasn't a true comparison of the shades. As for the evercolor leather, it has a bit of a grain to it, so it should withstand scratches better than box (I hope). I haven't taken the bag outside of the house yet, as I'm still considering whether or not I'm going to keep it!
I've made the decision to keep her!! My husband was also instrumental in helping me come to the decision (surprisingly!), as he said "this isn't a 365 day a year bag, but you have every neutral covered, so why not choose something a little fun...this city is so boring and it could use an injection of some color!". And when I put my new shawl against it (the shawl covers most of the colors in my wardrobe), it cinched the deal. Thank you so much everyone for your valuable and honest advice!

Your Kelly is bright but beautifully bright. I am so happy for you that you decided to keep it. And your husband said so right, actually thats exactly what my husband said when i was indecisive about my Blue Saint Cyr birkin, i thought the color was not neutral and too bright. Its good to listen your better half

Oh my goodness dear, your EB and BH next to each other almost sent me into convulsions. I really am not a blue person, however I thought electric blue was the most gorgeous color I had ever seen and placed my SO in that color. She now is my "signature" color for blue. For me, if I change my thinking, the bag changes. I wondered how I would incorporate her into my life since blue was not really in it. I do not wear blue other than jeans but this blue B, now, is perfection. She brightens any look. Makes me happy.
I see the blue hydra being the same bag for you. I have seen her in real life and she is something else. You wouldn't want to match her--how could you? She simply will become your BLUE bag. Thank you so much scarf1! Now I have to exhibit some willpower (not a strong suit for me) and put her back in her box until our anniversary in early May!
Our husbands are so used to giving us their opinions on our H choices, aren't they dear?! And because they know us so well, and know everything we have in our closets (not always a good thing!), they can give us very sound advice. Thank you so much for your sweet message! Now she goes back into her box until early May, but at least I know she's mine.

Ahhh, so you're in the same boat, Moq87! It's a challenge to take the plunge when the item is so different from your regular choices. I think Blue Saint Cyr is lovely, and I've seen it in real life as well as in photos. If you can imagine yourself carrying it, then perhaps it's a yes!
Oh your SO must be gorgeous sparklelisab!!! Thank you so much for your advice. You had me at "she brightens any look"! For such a neutral-loving person as myself, I have always been attracted to bright colors, but have never worn them. Until now. My H scarf and shawl choices have definitely been brightening up over the past few years, and they help to brighten my very fair skin.

You're so right Lanit, but I'm going to TRY to put her away until our special day! If spring-like weather arrives here soon though, all bets are off and I won't be able to resist!! I think she'll be amazing down South too.
