Blue and white striped lining

I was just thinking how much I'm starting to like the blue and white striped bags. As always you were way ahead of me and already started a thread about them. I think it started with your cranberry Nikki.

They are really great bags! I haven't had any problems with these linings in any of my bags. The cranberry is amazing and I think it looks great with this lining!

do we know when and were the blue and white striped lining bags were made? I don't see a "made in" label in mine - just the metal name plate

Here's my blue and white striped interior Green Leaf Nikki. It's got the newer nameplate, but I don't see a "made in" tag. Very soft leather!

so to partially answer my own question - I check the lining reference thread and this lining goes back to 2008...not sure how long it was made. wonder if that makes my like-new MAB with this lining over ten years old

They were made in the US and China, if there's no tag, it was made in the US. That was the first year she began outsourcing to China.

I owned a few bags when that lining came out that one season at the sample sales. I had a Wine Nikki in the blue and white stripe lining.. what else.. I think my aunt and my grandma's MAMs are with that lining.. Periwinkle is one of them. I can't recall if I.. OH I HAD A BLACK CAT MAM I think. I really need to dig through my old posts..
