I just spoke with a customer service rep and was told that the discount only applies towards a charge on a Bloomies card. For example, if you have a limit of $2,000 on the card and want to make a purchase worth more than 2K, say $3K - you put 2K on B card and the remaining 1K on your own CC, then the 20% off will only apply on the 2K you put on B card. So, final discount will only be 20% of 2K = 400, as opposed to 20% of 3K (600). Hope that makes sense.
Does anyone know if any of the NYC bloomies SA will help you hold a bag till the Friday that we can use the 20% off???

I don't think that there are SAs that are willing to hold anything until the 10th..plus, I called them, and they don't have much in store...:cry:
Try Lisa -- 2 years ago she hold my bags for a while for the new card promotion. But it was turned out to be 15% off, instead of 20% off. boo..., but I purchased them anyway.
All, after open account online, do call in and ask for higher credit line. If still not enough, you can ask to talk to the manager on duty to bounce up more. Good luck.
Well I just came back from NYC Bloomingdale. I can't wait till the 20% and I just bought my bag because that is the last one in stock if I don't get it then I won't have the chance to buy it next week anyway. I also asked SA about the reservation. SHe said only for 24 hours.
I recommend the SA :Amanda at the chanel bag section ( 1st floor). She has been very helpful for me. Great SA. She ran back and forth to their storage for 2 times to get my bag and new necklace. She also called the credit card to make sure I get the credit line to purchase 2 items ( a Timeless CC HoBo tote and lion head necklace.
If anyone go to NYC Bloomingdale. you can look fro Amanda.

James from MA still works for Bloomies, but he told me there aren't much inventory in the store...
wuts the difference, he never responded to emails anyway. guess i'll go for amanda then
I spoke to Lois @ Chestnut Hill on Friday. For those interested in the Chain Me Hobo, she said they had both black and charcoal grey coming in. She wasn't sure on the hardware. There is a waiting list for both - she said they are only getting in a couple of each.

I saw one red ITB in leather. But I am not sure about WOC. They sell bags in on ground floor at bag section and clothes section so You can ask SA to check for you.
