I mainly carry black bags. I throw in my brown ones when brown goes better with my outfit. This is the case YEAR ROUND! I really don't have many other bags that are not black/brown. I have one hot pink weekend hamptons bag, my new white pleated soho and my new Pond legacy. I am really starting to branch out!

I dont typically like to carry a black or even brown bag in the spring or summer but I have a black leather soho satchel that I have never used yet and I have really been wanting to use it so I am curious.... does anyone here carry a black (or brown) bag during the spring/summer months?? (Or is that just totally taboo??)
I actually think black is more acceptable than dark brown in the summer. Black has become very year round with clothes, purses, shoes everything. Wear what you love!

i do black year round - i have lots of black clothing that I wear year round (just more summery fabrics)
I don't know about brown -- maybe if it's paired with a summery outfit (like a light turquoise.. love turquoise and brown) .. or with a summery scarf tied to it..

I have one black bag only because of ALI, otherwise I wouldn't have one! I can see using her in the summer. It's spring and I'm using her.
I like brown and turquoise, also hot bright colors, orange, green. Have FUN with colors and enjoy the summer!

I think black is seasonless and all year round. That being said I only have two black bags. I have mostly
brown in different shades (brown, camel, british tan, whiskey), browns are my favorite. I have branched out
though as I now own the Ergo Large Hobo in Turquoise and the Ali in white. I am going to start to add some more color in my purse wardrobe. I generally wear colors like periwinkle, green and pink so I try to keep my handbag color simple. Black is definitely all year round and looks lovely in the summer with black and white outfits.

I carry/wear black/brown year round. I wear darker colors in summer and pay more attention to the fabrics and sleeve lengths but I do what I want. On the other hand, I leave the lighter colored bags for spring/summer.
