I typically like silver hardware, but the light gold is gorgeous with the Madison leather in black. I have the pinnacle drawstring bag in black with the LI hardware and it's not too gold and could almost look silver under different lighting. I say light gold!

i dont mind if a gooood black bag has silver/gold.....most of the time Coach does a good job with their hardware selection.....though i'd die to own a black leather Lindsey with gold hardware!! then again i'm a big fan of the black Rory with silver too!

Depends on the bag style.e.g.- HOBO -black /silver (edgier look) , Phoebe - black/ gold...
(Most of my black bags are black/ light gold.) Love both hardware.

Silver hardware for me definitely - but then again almost all my jewellery is silver or white gold and I kind of like matching!

That being said - am seriously considering the Madison Christie in black (waiting to see it in real life), and that only has light gold hardware...
