As far as I understand it, Coach's system prioritizes shipments by the shipping class. So, if you ordered an item and 4 hours later someone else ordered the same item and you had free shipping but they had overnight, then their order would go above yours in priority.

The price isn't as good, but Bloomingdales has the same bag for 30% off

That's perfect, because Canadians don't get an overnight shipping option. Ugh.

Well, I guess I will have to evaluate how badly I want this bag. It's basically full price from Bloomingdales after duties and taxes.

And THAT is so NOT right! If I ordered first and paid first it is not right for someone who ordered a day later to get an item that is in short supply or is a limited edition first, putting my purchase in jeopardy. That is utter BS. My money is just as good as their's and I was on the ball and put in my order early, so why should my order be jeopardized because they paid for overnight shipping? Coach needs to make sure all previous orders can be fulfilled BEFORE allowing other orders to cut in line. :annoyed:

Oh, and it's not just the overnight orders that get bumped up the line. I've followed along on here back during the Peanuts fiasco and other times like sales and plenty of times people got their orders bumped up the line and did not pay for overnight shipping.

I placed 3 orders on cyber Monday and requested gift boxes for each item. #1 (chestnut link saddle, kelly green clutch w/dinky chain, space rexy coin case) was around 5am before work, #2 (for my mom, the dark turquoise dinky) was around 7am and #3 ( the Dylan turnlock bag that was oversold)was around 9:30am. I was logged into my Coach.com account, but paid CC through PayPal. None of these orders show under my account as the PayPal email is different than my Coach.com email. I received a shipping notice for order #2 on Saturday and shipping notices for orders #1 and #3 on Sunday. UPS doesn't pick-up on the weekends, so all orders went out Monday. I did not pay for upgraded shipping. I live 2 hours from JAX, so UPS ground is always delivered next day. I received all 3 orders yesterday. I have no idea the rhyme or reason for how they go about pulling orders since #2 was processed a day before #1 and #3.
The chestnut link saddle is going back. I is a nice color and has a burgundy colorblocking outside along with melon interior, but it has a nick right on the front flap that cuts through the top layer. Also, I have 7 other saddle bags, no something different is calling me.
The Dylan is wider than expected (I didn't really pay attention to measurements when I ordered it). My phone fits in the back slip pocket easily. The inside is kind of tight due to the kisslock pocket and the zip closure. I am able to fit my soft wallet and sunglass case, but Dinky 24 seems roomier for some reason. The front turnlock pocket will not fit my phone and to open it, you have to undo the dogleash clip with the link detail. The other side of the link detail is attached with a small ring that I think I will use pliers to open and add a dogleash clip to so I can take off and put on at will. The edging of the Dylan is a plastic sparkly pinkish material as is the back of the hangtag. Not sure how I feel about that. I didn't have the Dylan on more than a minute before the hangtag fell off and I had to search for the ball chain. The strap is adjustable and is a mix of link and leather. I will be able to use it on other bags to change their looks.
I love the kelly green clutch. I already have this clutch in dark turquoise, but I just love this shade of green so will have to keep both. I am now officially on ban island!

You are having more luck than I am with my Cyber Monday purchases. I got some metallic and studs stuff from Coach and another brand for an upcoming event I'm going to and my shipping dates keep getting later and later! I originally had a 12/4 delivery, then 12/5, then finally it was 12/6 and I was thrilled, but I check again today and it's been pushed back to 12/7...it's like they know I'm checking on baited breath...

I ordered the kelly green clutch but the linked Dylan sold out before I could purchase it. Do u mind posting pics of the Dylan?

Assuming you're on Eastern time (based on proximity to JAX), I ordered my Dylan 21 minutes before you. *facepalm* The rest of that order is STILL processing. Lets hope it gets shipped out before all of it gets cancelled... Should I write Coach a strongly-worded letter about their order fulfillment processes? :P

That's really sad to hear about your damaged Saddle!! They shouldn't be sending out merchandise that's not in "new" condition, sale or no sale.

You definitely should complain. It makes no sense why your order is still processing or why they didn't reserve a Dylan when you ordered it! Do you work with a SA? Maybe she can keep an eye out in case one gets returned. I hope you end up getting it and at that price.

The saddle must have been a display or something. The strap wasn't wrapped like the purple link saddle or the Dylan, and it had 2 price tags - the 1941 one and a regular store one. I wouldn't care as much if it wasn't right on front and it is lighter than the rest of the bag as if someone already tried moisturizer or something on it.
 
I was able to place an order for the 30' space patch wristlet + space rexy coin/bag fob today. I will not die if one or both get cancelled. I hope everyone gets what they ordered- I do not understand the process at all and whether they hold back inventory to release strategically?

I don't think that is the case. I think that sometimes the computer will show there is stock, but when they go to pull it, it isn't there. Or they have to get it from a store, and meanwhile the store sells it. I'm surprised you were able to get the Space rexy coin purse. It was a really good price at the start of the sale.

I have no expectations here- both items were a good price at half off- if they happen, great and if not, c'est la vie. I guess I am so used to LV and the way items can magically appear for certain clients that I figure other designers do likewise, IYKWIM.

I ordered the kelly green clutch but the linked Dylan sold out before I could purchase it. Do u mind posting pics of the Dylan?
Hi, I am using Dylan today so snapped some photos. The colors kind of remind me of my rip and repair saddle. I also included a shot of the strap with my butterscotch rogue. It seems to match a lot of my bags.
