The excuse I used for years with my husband, was I have a "gap" in my wardrobe, and I needed this color/style.

Nah, I don't have a Dawson. But im sure u can find reviews if you type Dawson in the search and search the Dooney forum only. It's awesome to see the reviews from members that were made when they first got their bags years ago. The eye candy alone is worth the trip into the older forum archives.

My pre-ordered, September 6, navy Tilton had been processing. Since then I received an email from Dooney that it was available. I immediately went to the Dooney website and all the colors said in stock. I went to Ild and they were in stock. I opened the live chat and begin inquiring, with Trevor, about my pre-order... After giving my order number he informs me the my order is on back order. I'm super confused and sent him a screen shot of the Tilton on site with the in stock highlighted... He sends my case to a supervisor. The next day, miraculously I receive an email that my Tilton has shipped, about dang time... Will be here tomorrow....

I was very concerned as the first chestnut Tilton that I pre-ordered was NOT a new bag. I did not want a returned used bag with hair stuck on the patch an remnants of someone else in the pockets... They just stocked these and should be new factory packaged and wrapped... I'll be filming my unboxing when it gets here. This is a part of my birthday haul, my story and I'm sticking to it, as it is my birthday unicorn bag....

I did go ahead and get that Florentine small Logan in chestnut that had been in my cart for a couple weeks and I couldn't pass on that beautiful blue Large Logan @ $65. When they arrive I'll be posting everything here as my birthday haul just keep on going and going....

IT'S A MONTH LONG CELEBRATION. Only turn 1 and 50 once....

The birthday shenanigans continue. Hubby takes me out today, Wednesday, to the Horseshoe casino in Hammond Indiana for the buffet. The buffet was closed which was a real bummer because it was one of the BEST buffets. Since it wasn’t open we stop by players services to get players cards. The attendant takes my ID and says, “my daughter has the same birthday as you.” I’m like that’s awesome. She goes over to the next station and comes back with this bag and says HAPPY BIRTHDAY, this is the last one… I’m at a loss for words. I thank her and move aside for the next person behind me. I walk to an area that’s fairly empty and examine the bag. Alrighty then…. This was awesome as I didn’t expect to receive anything. So here is the bag by Nanette Lepore. A VEGAN LEATHER Analia side pocket shoulder bag In the color rice.. It’s a nice size, had a back slip pocket for a phome, 2 nice and deep side pockets, 2 open compartments with a center zip dividing the 2 sections. Has a little magnetic flap securing the center and tassels on the side trimmed in gold toned hardware….Silky purple and white interior with 2 slip pockets on front wall and a zip pocket on the back wall… Light as a feather and for a vegan bag doesn’t feel bad… I have never had anything Vegan before and this was a great surprise for my birthday.

I forgot to ask you this. On your other b-day post, you said you were in Michigan City, isn't there a pretty big outlet mall there?

On my birthday we were in new buffalo michigan. There is an outlet in Michigan city but no dooney store. Aurora, illinois outlet is the only one with a dooney store…

the vegan leather is thin, has texture but doesn’t really feel like leather, doesn’t feel like plastic either.
