Does anyone know if Biosilk is safe for Keratin treated hair? I just got the Global Keratin treatment done and I wonder if I can use this to tame the small flyaways on top of my head.

I started using biosilk probably 7 years ago and I use it off and on depending how lazy I am. It is definitely one of the best hair products I have used. I use it on both damp and dry hair. It works best when I put some on my damp hair and blow dry it in my opinion. I don't know the shelf life of this stuff but for those that say its runny, try shaking it. If I leave my bottle for a long time I have to shake it or it's very runny as well.

I have two full-sized bottles because me and my sister went through a hair-straightening craze, and now realize it did nothing for my hair except dull it and weigh it down. I find that Paul Mitchell Super Skinny serum does a much better job, but now the only product I use is coconut oil! Simply nothing beats some virgin, organic, cold-pressed coconut oil on damp or even dry hair! It's a make-up remover, it's a healthy alternative for cooking oil, it is great for growing out hair, and it's a deep conditioner, shine serum, leave-in conditioner and detangler too! A little goes a much longer way for this than even Biosilk, which tends to be goopy. I usually saturate my hair and sleep in it as well and wash it out in the morning. My hair has never been stronger nor shinier :) And I had really damaged highlights just about a month ago!

I love it! I got a GIANT sized bottle during a promotion almost 4 years ago ($20 for the largest bottle they sell) and it's still going strong. I generally only use it when I do something with heat to my hair, otherwise it's not that noticeable for me. But with heat it's great!

I love it too - u know what works good too without the stickiness? Organix Moroccan oil .. It is great!!!

I've been using Biosilk for years and I love it. I do feel like I need to take a break from it once I a while a do a couple of clarifying washes, as it does seem to build up. I am also careful to only use it on my ends as my hair is super long and it gets weighed down easily.
