Paris20 gives great advice. Also, last time I was at the sale a couple of years ago, we weren't even allowed to wear a jacket inside (and there's no coat check, so leave it in the car).

I'll see you ladies & gents @ the BH Sale...Friday/Saturday, I'll be there. I went last year..there wasn't a lot but I manage to get just a few goodies. I was happy!!

I was told just to bring a cc and a driver's license; the first day is generally the most restrictive in terms of what you can bring inside. To be safe, I would not bring anything you cannot tuck inside your jean's back pocket. Not sure about a jacket but it has been cool lately so I fully intend to wear adequate clothing to stay warm.

It used to not be this way- people routinely arrived with their birkins, kellys, etc.- I guess there have been problems with inventory loss. I am hoping the cash registers do not go on the fritz- it can get very claustrophobic on the 3rd floor- no windows with lots of bodies pushing and shoving. It does quiet down considerably after the first day.

I was headed there in the morning but now I home sick, so my plans have changed. Still hoping to get there some time this week. Can't wait to hear reports back on all the goodies!

I went in around 1PM (I got my ticket at 11:20AM), and there were not very many bags at all, especially compared to August, but lots of enamels and some rings and leather bracelets and scarf rings. They were marked down 50%. The scarves were at 40% off as usual, great selection here--lots of silk twills and cottons. Not as many women's shoes as compared to August. The RTW looked promising, but I was on a time crunch. It took over an hour to check out with only two out of the three registers running. I wish I can give specifics on the goods, but I am still a relatively new hermes fan-- I just picked out what was pretty :)

I went this morning and got in with the first 40 people. There are lots of bracelets, enamels, leathers and cuffs. No wallets or small leather goods. I'm not into scarves so I only glanced at them. I ended up with an enamel bangle and an evelyne cuff both 50%off.

There was a problem with the computer registers freezing. Happened to me when I checked out and had to wait for IT to fix the problem.
