WOO HOO!:amuse: I'm getting excited! I'm supposed to go to the LV store this Sat. (that's if something doesn't come up..).

I only have 1 shoulder bag LV and it's small. So I'm pumped up to get something roomier and easy to get into. I have a Coach bag that is similar to the BH that I liked alot back before I started buying LV's. It also has a open top and has a lil hook closure. It's alot smaller though. I did enjoy it...it's accessibility w/ retrieving my cell ph., etc. easily. LOVED THAT! :heart: I worry about me liking the BH for the fact it's a shoulder bag. The rest of my LVs are handheld. Except for the 1 sm. one I have the Cite MM...But...I'm bored, and want a new look, hands free. The BH gets alot of thumbs up here so...I'm hoping everything works out. It is such a nice bag!!!!!

Ya...a few posts back on this thread....vuitton.com has the most accurate measurements..so I'm sticking with them.
The stats are: 15.3" x 9" x 5.5"

(btw Elux are: 13.4" x 11.8" x 5.4" W)



I found a pic on another thread of an inside view of the bh with it's contents...here's the link...

I noticed she has a magazine going across her bag. Looks as though there's about 1" extra space on either side of her magazine. So I grabbed a magazine and measured it and added 2" to it for the extra room on the sides...and came up to be 12 1/2". (hmm..close to the measurement Elux has for the across measurement which is 13.4, maybe their measurement is not including the gathers that can be unstrapped and opened to increase the width across???)


So...I'm like....Hmm...vuitton.com says 15.3" across/length. Then I looked at the pic again...and realized maybe the missing inches are in the gathers at the sides. So looks as though there might be 1 1/2" on either side. So I added that to my 12 1/2" + 1 1/2" = 14" + 1 1/2" = 15 1/2" hmm..:hrmm: sounds like that might be it. I'm guessing then if a person were to unbuckle the side straps that gather then the measurement across/length is 15.3

BH owners is this correct????Any input? Or is 15.3" the measurement without undoing the straps. From that pic I seen though it seems this might be correct..

My strap falls a lot with the BV.....I was carrying a lot of things the other day and I finally got fed up with the adjusting of the straps and ended up wearing it in my arm nook like a Speedy!!

Well................

I ended up at the LV store today, by chance. My daughter had gotten a rash yesterday and she still had it this morning. I thought maybe it was hives. I took her to the Dr. which is like 25 mins. from the LV store. Dr. says it wasn't hives...actually will go away in a few days. So then I went to the LV store to ck. out the BH!!! I saw the BH, and BV side to side(comparing sizes). I was like..ya, I want the BH...ooooohhhh the BH is so pretty!!!!!!! I asked to see it....looked inside..."WOW" not too big at all. Nice n' roomy, without being huge. YAY!!! I then tried it on...very nice. I turned to the SA ok, I'll take this.

Then I asked to see the sm. ring agenda MC white. She had 1 left. Oooohh...ok sold!

Then I asked her if I can see the wapity. I asked if she had a mono and a white MC I can see. She came back saying she had 1 white MC left. No mono. I looked at it and couldn't find a reason as to what I'd put inside. DARN!! LOL! If only my ph. had fit. Oh well.....:rolleyes:

I'll post pics when I get a chance!:D

The easy accessibility is one of the things I love most about the BH. Invariably, my cell will ring, or I'll need my wallet at a drive-through, and I hate have to go through flaps and zippers and buckles to get to anything.

The 15.3 is across the bottom. The top is a little narrower because of the cinched sides. You can easily still fit a magazine in there, though. If you wanted to carry something bigger, like a laptop, you'd probably have to put the sides straps on their loosest hole.

That's a nice option to have. Yep, I measured the bottom after I got it, in comparison to the top opening. You're right it's 15.3". The opening is about 12 1/2". It's the perfect size!!!:yes: Btw, I just got back from dinner with my new BH. I'm in LOVE! lol!! It is so pretty!!!!!!! :love:

hey batignolles owners...
i was just wondering does the regular batignolles fit over the shoulder comfortably or is it just carry in the hand handbag??? after looking at the batignolles club thread, i'm like, "ekekekek, i want one!"

Umm..you may be able to get it up past your elbow, but it is a handheld bag. It is also very cute! :smile1:
