I could barley see the Mona Lisa when I went to the Louvre. There was a little partial wall keeping people back from it. Then there were people crowded up against that. I was surprised at how small the painting was too.

When I went there was a wooden railing and then a rope further back and there were a ton of people. And they had it in a plastic case and a light was reflecting off it so you couldn't see anything. I was like what is even the point.

Yep smooth lines and structure underneath the garment. (especially in the girdle/corset days)....Ladies in the 30, 40, 50 weren't fat but wore them.

Also, 'spanx' has been around for agessssssssssss, but the Spanx lady just learned how to market them better.

It's like when women wore slips or things to keep jiggle in control.

Her face looks different in those Louvre pics...

Saw this on tumblr a few mins ago and :-s Someone got a bit scissor happy with their bangs...this might be the most unflattering pic I've seen of her. Leave the cutting to your stylist, Bey.

I dont understand the big deal. Its an ugly painting and supposedly its not even finished. Ive even heard its not a female but a man in drag.

No, it's not a man in drag. It's supposed to portray the fusion of male and female.

There were two supposed muses that inspired the painting -Gian Giacomo Caprotti, an apprentice to Da Vinci. The other was Lisa Gherardini - the wife of a rich merchant.

In any case Da Vinci always painted an abstract ideal of beauty.

Edit: That fringe belongs back circa the "Telephone" era with Gaga.
