I can totally understand her dilema because she is too young for permsI had two pigtails and ribbons. No hot comb but a Saturday wash. I think it should be illegal to relax little girls hair. Of course I think that because in high school I went behind my mom's back and got a relaxer and my hair fell out. But those are dangerous chemicals

BUT AT the same time I'm wondering if she's taking the natural thing too far. There is nothing wrong with pgtails, braids, these celebs act their kids are too good for common folk hairstyles
"taking the natural thing too far"...what does that mean exactly?I can totally understand her dilema because she is too young for perms

I do feel bad for Blue's hair... I have 2 girls, my baby is 2 and they are both mixed. I don't braid tier hair but it is brushed and combed (with lice repellant spray) every day. It takes a few minutes but it's about teaching your child good habits - brush your teeth, wash your face and brush your hair - simple stuff.
My 6 yr old has a lite friend who is always dirty, her hair is dirty to the touch and her clothes are always dirty. She has 1a hair and I'm afraid she will give my daughter lice - so that's why I bought bottles of the repellant spray. I made the mistake f touching her little brothers hair once and it felt like touching a dirty dog that was never washed...
The european lice can't live in black folks hair because of the shape of the hair shaft. I thought that was an urban myth until my kid's doctor confirmed it. And lice like really clean hair. But be careful if your kids are mixed. We didn't realize that my oldest had the white hair shaft until he got lice. It was my fault because I can look at him at see all that european curly hair growing out of his head and didn't keep on type of the lice preventionI do feel bad for Blue's hair... I didn't think you were throwing shade. I just honestly had no idea what you meant.I'm natural so Im definately not throwing shade
some grades of hair require more attention, Blue's being one, so you just cant wash her hair and walk out the door which I dont know if she does this but just because she isnt using chemicals in her hair doesnt meant she cant tame it
yep!thats why im thinking maybe she does want that unkept lookI didn't think you were throwing shade. I just honestly had no idea what you meant.
Maybe she doesn't want it "tamed" perhaps? I'm actually surprised that Beyonce chooses to leave her kid's hair natural and free...for many folks, that's not a pleasing look for them or their children. Figured she would had her kid's hair braided, twisted, etc...anything but letting it's actual natural state show for the world to see.
