This is so interesting! Maybe Jay was talking side ways to Beyoncé and Solange took up for her sister. Solange may feel that Beyoncé doesn't take up for herself like she should when it comes to relationships which is why she has made the comment about killing her sisters boyfriends in the past. Seems like Beyoncé was also upset once she got on the elevator since she was first on. She didn't do much because she knew her sister would handle it the way she could never. One go my theories.

After talks to multiple sources and witnesses who were present at the Met Gala Event where Jay-z, Beyonce and Solange were in attendance. Alwayzturntup.com has obtained the details of what led up to the altercation between Solange and Jay-z in the Standard hotel elevator last week in New York.
According to multiple sources, Solange (Who seem to be in a bad mood all night after a couple drinks ) Got into a heated argument with renowned designer and friend of Kim Kardashian Rachel Roy.
While It Is still unknown what cause the argument between the two, the next Interaction can be the assumed reason for the elevator assault. Solange was seen getting into the face of Roy and threating her with violence in the crowded gala event. Beyonce attemped to defuse the situation but ended up coming to little sisters defense from the towering 61 Rachel Roy. Quoted Saying You dont get to talk to anyone in my family like that. At this point Jay Z became agitated and approached Solange, grabbing her arm and pulling her away From Ms. Roy. Our source says he was heard saying This is not how we act in public, You are embarrassing Yourself, Dan (Solanges Son) Your Sister, And Most of all me. Calm The F*ck Down or I will have Ju (Jay z and Beyonces Body Guard) TAKE YO *** HOME!!! Solange reply was simple. While choking back tears she said F*ck It then, LETS GO!!! Then Storms off. Followed closely by Beyonce, Jay z, and their bodyguard.
While at the elevator Solange can be heard screaming at Jay, Dont Ever Put Your F*ckin hands on me again!!! Jay z replies to her, but was it was to low to be heard by our source. Our sources connected with the store say Jay and Solange were in Mr. Flawless, where they were looking for women's jewelry for around 20 minutes.
We're told the pair showed no signs of strife, and looked at gems with Mr. Flawless himself. They looked, but tried nothing on. They left the store without buying anything.
Jay and Solange didn't talk much inside the store ... they pretty much just browsed quietly.

Something seems off about the story. It sounds reasonable but why he leave the party too if he was just sending Solange home? I wonder what caused the fight with Rachel. This theory at least has Beyoncé standing up for her sister. But it could all be more spin
