Thanks all for the reply. :) It was too late and someone already bought it so I have another question. Is this real? eBay: NWT LeSPORTSAC TOKIDOKI BUON VIAGGIO CITTA ROSA 9515 (item 290081514794 end time Feb-15-07 16:32:52 PST)

Sorry for asking again but I just want to make sure. The only thing I own is the Tokidoki iPod case and I'm hoping to get a handbag and I really like the Citta Rosa print and you can only get them from ebay so I want to make sure I'm not getting a fake. Thanks!

This one looks good but its not the one you will get if you win. If you look down it says something about being the stock picture. I would ask her to email you the real one, and then judge off of that.

Is this a superfake??? It looks like a first season bella but the zipper pulls are the wrong color, and the hardware on the strap should be multicolor... but they have the multicolor zipper teeth and everything.... and the shape seems a little off, but still very close?? eBay: NWT Le SportSac "Tokidoki" Bella Handbag (item 170081105854 end time Feb-16-07 02:26:21 PST)

Agreed that it is fake - I added it to my guide to fakes! They are getting a little bit better, but I think/hope that Tokidoki bags just have too many cool details for the fakers to ever get it right.

It's kinda scary though that a guy in a booth selling fake designer bags on Canal Street (NYC location that is notorious for fake everything) was scoping me out as I walked by carrying my Tokidoki Paradiso Campeggio the other day - he was loudly pointing me out and saying how much my bag goes for in retail stores.

My friend and I saw a lot of fake Tokidokis in Taiwan this past December but they were really obvious because they had no leather and were in shapes that are not used for Tokidoki. Real ones had about a $100 markup (compared to US prices) in the department stores.

I'm a bit confused on how some sellers are selling the same tokidoki bag again and again. I saw someone whose is selling one that I might be interested. When I check the person's feedbacks, I see that he/she sold the same bag 2 times already (same exact pictures). Seller got all positive feedback though. Should I be alarmed?

People were probably stealing qees and selling them for $$ !!! Macys Valley Fair was doing the same, hiding the qees at the register and when you made your purchase they'd give you one. Then the lady even hand wrote on my receipt, "2 Pieces - Doll Included." I was thinking what a hard time I'd probably have if I needed to return that...who would call the qee a doll?? Keychain maybe, doll NEVER!! You're probably right that they get scratched in shipping or if the purse gets dropped...who knows what it goes through before we ever get our hands on it and once it's out of the bag it gets scratched in like 0.5 seconds!

I was in Nordies one day a while ago, I think it was when the inferno/paradiso prints came out and they were unwrapping all the qees to put the stuff on display...my BF and I couldn't believe it...we were like DUHHHHH!!

oh i wouldnt be surprised if someone was taking them and selling it :D...it is limited edition along with the bags..so if you wanted that qee you needed to buy the bag..unless you can find someone who can just give you the qee or get it off on ebay haha lol...

when i was shopping for my piratas, i notice that they took the bags off on the qees too...in fact all that was displayed had their bags off (which was alot) ...and some qees behind the counters as well with their bags off... lol ...so if i wanted to get a qee with the bags on i had to request to see other prints cuz those were wrapped :D

I admit that I have a fake tokidoki:shame: But I got it last year when I went on vacation to the Philippines and this was before I even knew what tokidoki was..seriously. I just thought it was a cute bag! It didn't even have the "tokidoki for LeSportsac" logo on the print! It was really really cheap though, I'm not even gonna say how cheap it was because that's part of the reason I bought it... But I'm glad that I got it because otherwise I may not have been introduced to tokidoki at all! I loved the print and it's what made want to find out more about and buy an authentic tokidoki. I mean seriously, I don't usually get crazed over something like purses! But like most of you tokidoki lovers, I now can't get enough of it! LOL

Anyway, you can totally tell when a bag's fake just by looking at the handles and zippers. Fake ones don't have the round character-imprinted zipper pulls, my fake one had long oval "LeSportsac" imprinted pulls. Plus I notice that real bags have leather at the base of the handles and fake ones don't.

I think so too! I think people steal them in bulk and sell them on eBay, otherwise where are all those qees come from on eBay if the sellers are not selling bags? Besides, each bag comes with one qee and there shouldn't be any extra qees for sale.

I went to macy's last year to shop for my Foresta and found out all the Tokidoki bags there were missing the qees :cursing: I complained to the handbag manager but she was like, uuum, there's nothing much I can do type of attitude!!! So I left without buying any even though I did like the print on one of the bags there!!! So sick of these people, ruining our lovely Tokidokis...

I had a similar problem at Macy's - about half of their Tokidoki bags were missing the qees. I have also received two bags that I ordered online from a store that isn't too Tokidoki-knowledgeable that were missing the qees.

I guess that explains why Macy's now keeps the qees at the register. Although some bags still had them on there...duh. It's like they took some off and left the others on...who knows!
Wow...you ordered online and got bags missing the qees?? Did they give you a discount for that??

What is the big deal about that qee? I mean in the beginning I thought it was awesome but I'm so sick of it now. I can't imagine that people would steal them...get a life, right?? Now that I think about it back around Christmas I was in Nordies and they had some solid black bags that were missing the qees.

I would ask the seller if the bag pictured is the one for sale, and if not, if they would mind sending you some pics. I don't like it when sellers reuse pics, or steal them from others... but it does happen. I check the listing carefully and usu the legit ones will say specifically that the bag pictured is the one for sale.
