hahah yes. my baby was getting fussy towards the 30 min mark. I only scored bangles and ties. Nothing really left. I wished I'd gone on Thursday. Did you score anything good? I really wanted a purse but nothing on my list was left.

I didn't get anything yesterday... But thanks to BHmommy, I got pretty shawl from her :) I wanted bangles too but they are too big for me. Congrats on your goodies!

Yes it was me. Love my new baby. Small & roomy. The color turquoise is such a happy color:-)

I got lucky again today & got a pair of black Babylone knee high boots for $570. (I think H mismarked the boots @ $1140 before discount. ). Yippee!!!

Love love your turquoise bolide, very cuteee.

You are so lucky! Please post modeling pic of your boots when you figure out how to post pic ;) I was hoping to score bolide and shawl yesterday but there were none.

Again, thanks for those who posting the information about the sale and reveal what the inventory looks like. :woohoo:
I thought I gonna miss out this sale since I have a planned NY trip till Saturday. After confirming the sale time, I figure I may be able to make the last two hours. :D
It's a bit crazy, my flight landed at 2:30pm, I got my car and reached the Rodeo drive around 3:45, spent 20+ minutes circling around those two streets to find a parking spot which was horrible experience. Finally lined up outside the back door at 4:15 and got shocked that there were still about 100 people in front of me. After 45 minutes, I got in and found even NO 90cm scarf left!!! All the products are heavily picked. :crybaby:

There were still perfumes, ties, men's scarves, scarves w beads, a few pointu, dragon pocket, enamel bracelets (not many in 65 size), SLG in a few bins, some polochon and trim(?) most in black and white, a few travel bags, some clutch a lot of scarf books, RTW still has good selection, and few pairs of shoes in different sizes.

Here is my loot which is quite GREEN (orange boxed ones are from the NY trip) and I am still amazed by making to the sale!
Polochon 32 in Vert Bengale
Tohu Bohu and Cachemire and Irreel bracelets
Pointu Madras and Pointu Jersey

Thanks for letting me share!

So happy you got the vert bengale polochon. I opted for the Medor clutch and was hoping the polochon would find a good home :)

Congrats on your sale goodies and your new scarves!!! I love how you made it in time for the sale, and that you brought home some east coast hermes! That's my kind of bi-coastal shopping! :smile1:

Thank you all members for posting all information about this sale. Without you I would have never known about it. I'm a Hermes newbie. I've never had any interest about owning anything from Hermes. I'm an LV girl :) I visited Hermes store twice before. Few years ago when my husband wanted to see their wallets - for himself and another time in Vegas when he was looking for some money clip. Every time we received great customer service but I was not amazed by their products. However few months ago I started to visit Hermes forum more often and to look at all purses, silks and bracelets.

I felt in love :) I liked all pieces but still was not sure if they are worth the money - quality and all that hype, ;) Once I heard about the sale in LA - I live 60 miles from LA, I decided to step by to check all the goodies. As I work Mon - Fri 10-6pm, my only chance was to step by on Saturday. We arrived around 4.30pm. There was a 30mins line to get inside. It was a nice to see all those different people and to hear their conversations about Hermes :) Once we got inside we noticed that most of leather items were either scratched or dirty, especially mens bag that retail for $8k were really scratched. I'm wondering what they will do them after the sale ends. Everybody acted in a civil way, except a group of 3 ladies, who pushed everybody to touch some items. I must say that all leather pieces like wallets, agendas and notebooks were amazing, colorful and great quality but did not get any, because they were so damaged and scratched. I had some silks, enamels and perfume on my list. I ended up getting only one bracelet size 65 and hubby got one tie and perfumes that he normally uses every day. Overall I'm happy with this experience. I was able to look at many items and feel the softness of the leather. I'm sad that I did not get any shawl or other silk item. I guess everything was already gone on Thursday. Thank you all for letting me share this story. Hopefully I will be back with more Hermes items in the future. Husband goes to Paris again, and I will ask him to get me something from there :)

Here is a pic of our tiny Hermes haul :)

You scored three great items from the sale!! I especially like the cat tie. I wish they made a scarf in that pattern. Enjoy everything!!

How do you know?:graucho:

Because the last 2 sales were exceptionally disappointing
& not new inventory added daily as many of us thought or
were told that would be the case

Did you go to the last few sales that were downtown here
in NYC?

If so, what where your thoughts?? Did you find alot???
Did you see much new inventory added daily if you chose
to go back & wait on very long lines...

And if you do go to the sale this year, please let us know if
it was was worth your time & if you found a good selection.:D.

I couldn't make the sale, I was out of town but sent my mom
Instead. By the time she got inside all the medor clutches were gone. She just bought a scarf for me. I was pretty disappointed about the clutch. Lol

Here what I got from the BH sale on Thursday (first public sale). I was dissappointed I couldn't get a bolide nor I saw any on the shelves at all but overall it was a great sale and of course I love what I've got! 1 white/vermillion Picotin, 1 rouge vif Gao (apparently it can fit so many things and a very practical bag), 1 cashmere shawl, 1 brides de gala scarf, 1 tiger charm, 1 heli keychain and 2 hot air balloon keychains for my dear friend teepotz :D

I enjoyed reading this thread so much, I couldn't pass through without leaving a comment.

Thank you for letting me share in your excitement and congratulations on all your amazing new beautiful bargains, most could easily have been sold for full price in a reg store

:woohoo:

Wow, BirKineSS, not only did you find some amazing items, but ones that coordinate so well!
I especially love the rouge vif Gao, such a great bag! The white pico with that pop of vermillion is just beyond precious, especially with the charm! The scarf and shawl work with both bags, you couldn't have planned this better!
