Has anyone ever had their stamped form be lost in the mail back to Global Blue? It’s been 10+ weeks and they (GB) say they do not have the form yet; additionally, they say they must have the original and will not accept the photo copy I have of the stamped form and the store receipt.
I posted multiple times about my refund taking a really long time. It finally came through I think it was more than 10 weeks.

Just want to tell everyone why we didn’t get our vat refund this time. It was such a stupid mistake. To “save time” I had my husband pay with his credit card while I was in the dressing room getting back into my own clothes. However the store used my passport name and number on the vat form. The name on the passport and the credit card need to be the same so it was rejected. A costly mistake that I will be sure not to make again. Hopefully this will save someone else from making the same mistake.

I think I did this several years ago and didn't realize it until I tried tracking the refund. Anyway, I ended up contacting global blue (I think it was global blue) and eventually got my refund.

Very strange because we used my husband card to pay but the sale is under my name and my account. We got money refunded to my husband card. I think the key is that the refund request asks money to go back to the same card?

I have had refunds fine using my passport but the payment made on my partner's credit card. I have also specified different card/bank account details for payment to go back to than the one originally used.

We did request that the money to be refunded was to go back on my husbands card. It was the only card information they had. It isn’t global blue but some other service I never heard of, sol pay.
