My friend does not speak a single korean word but she did hers at BK and it was total bliss. They have a free pickup service and free guest house. and and there are english consultants as well as the doctors speaking english totally. If you are worying bout going to korea without knowing the language, don't worry bout it. Email BK about your situation. they will totally help up. Good luck to your trip ;)

i agree, i did my eyelid revision at BK and loving the result. i can only recommend eyelid revision at this time since it is what i had done there. talk to dr shin if you planning to do revision eyelid. he is the surgeon that did my revision and he is a pro in this field. although i have to correct something. there don't have free pickup from the airport. you have to pay around 80k won for a one way trip. the guest house however is free. but depend on what kind of procedure you do. if you only do eye revision, you most likely allow to stayed for 3 days. i'm going back this april to consult with them about other procedure, among other clinic as well.

Hi which clinic in VN?can u send me a link?what implant they plan to use. & how much?
One in Bien Hoa, they work with BK Doctors.
http://thammyhanquoc.vn/vi/hop-tac-tham-my-han-quoc/hop-tac-benh-vien-bk-dong-yang.html (very close to Saigon)
one in Saigon, they work with JW doctors.
http://www.thammyucchau.vn/030000/gioi-thieu.html
after you send your pictures to them, they send to Korea, the doctors in Korea will tell us how they do , so , we need to talk to both of them to see they doing the same thing. if you lucky have a group do int he same time, they will fly to VN right away.
they both will perform surgery in the big hospital in Saigon .

Glad to hear that I can have same Korean style surgery in SE Asia.one thing I concern is d long hours flight.its like i feel at my worst n wish to get home asap after post op 7th day.d cost of hotel would b cheaper n at least d technique perform =same..

When do u plan to go?had they quote u for NJ primary surgery? I'm planning for my summer vacation so I'm looking into Thai,VN or Manila early June.

hi ladies,

like many of u, i've inherited the monolid and have been a long-time user of eyelid stickers/glue. unfortunately for me, i also have permanent eye bags. i wear glasses to school/work just to hide them (my bags end right at the bottoms of the frame) and they have been permanent fixtures on my face since high school and are not due to sleep deprivation (think i have excess fat pads). every time i go to work in contacts someone will ask me if i'm tired (so annoying!!) they're not those cute bags either that are just under ur eyes, but much lower ones and almost impossible to cover with makeup because u can still see the shadows of the crease under certain lighting.

anyway, i'm finally making my way over to korea early april to do something about my lids and bags..probably full incisional and transconjunctival blepharoplasty.

i used to read this forum a lot (2-3 years back), and BK was very popular, but i'm seeing more posts about ITEM, regal an teuim. would love to hear more about these clinics.

does anyone know if april is considered a peak season for plastic surgery in korea? do i need to make appointments in advance? i'll only be there for a week max so i'm not sure if it will be hard to schedule the surgery on the second day i'm there (probably spend the first day doing consultations).

would appreciate any info and recommendations from u all and also get in touch with anyone going the same time!

feel free to email me at xxx
