Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have personal experience or know of any cheap accommodation to stay in whilst in Gangnam for surgery, like anywhere within good reach of all the clinics like BK, Banobagi, VIP etc can be guest house, hotel, apartment.... Just somewhere cheap to stay whilst getting surgery done without having to travel too far as this will not be practical after surgery.

You can try bangrang hostel. Its a back packer hostel and the price is very reasonable. It cost about 35,000 a day and its pretty well equip and clean. I stayed at this hostel when i had my eye revision done. I stayed 3 days at bk guest house. And the remaining 7 day at the hostel. Its not very near to bk. had to take the subway to and from the hostel, but its not very difficult to navigate around the subway. I was able to understand and travel the sub in just 2 days.

I am going for nose revision ... As I expected that the cost of doing revision will be more than just rhinoplasty cost but I feel it's way too expensive at Regen. In fact I'm so keen to do it there after comparing their website with others and now I think I should reconsider... The actual price they quote me is 13k to 15k .... It's more expensive den won jin and Banobagi.

The second highest cost is quoted by Won jin.

Doing revision is always more complicated than doing for the first time, therefore it is important to find the doctor who has good track record with revision, and of cos good results.

Your fees reminds me of Dr. Woffles Wu. I have consulted with him in Dec 2011, and he quoted me S$17.5K. That is before... 7%GST, medication and consultation fees. If all these added together, easily 20K! haha. I can't imagine how much he will quote for revision. Take it as it is still slightly affordable to do it in Korea.

Thanks for the reply. well... ok there is no guesthouse for non patient of the clinic.. i'm actually looking for a cheap hotel at apgujeon.. because the average cost per night is 100$ WOW !!! so 1400$ for 14days !! that's too much !!!!

I recently joined this forum because I want double eyelid surgery too. I am planning to go to Teuim with Dr. Kwon for double eyelid surgery w/ magic epi. And going to Banobagi for nose and jaw (not sure if I need jaw reduction - but getting surgery to slim down my face).

I am planning to go in May 2012 and stay till around July? Maybe even before that. But I dont want to go back home too soon so that everyone knows I had surgery done. Heard its great to go in May too since it is not high season for plastic surgery in Korea.
I have not booked tickets or anything yet. But I have spoken with Banobagi and asked them about pricing and a few other questions. I recently just sent them a second email, they did not take very long to get back to me on the first one. Within 24 hours? They are very nice. Not sure who I spoke with though since they have a general email address on the website.

For those who are planning to get nose and eyelid surgery...Banobagi told me to go get eyelid surgery done first and than do my nose and jaw.

I am thinking of getting magic epi. I do not have small eyes...but I used to have a lazy eye when I was young..which made my eyes have a slight asymmetrical look. I do have a double eyelid but its not very prominent. Some of my friends think I'm crazy and say I do have a double eyelid...but I'd like you enhance it to get a full distinct line.

Im getting these surgeries done to enhance my looks. I know it may seem like lots...But I'm doing this for myself and no one else. I will be bringing a translator along with me...my korean friend

If anyone would like to accompany me on this trip - split hotel fares, go to the clinics...etc. Please msg me! I am very excited but I am very scared. It is a long ways away till I get surgery. Especially when I haven't set dates yet. I am going in May for sure because I finish school in April.

Yes i did. Here is the first email I received from Banobagi. I think when they said Angle..they meant Jaw..lol I messaged them back about that. Also what hotel they have next to them that they have connections with to give me a discount on stay. I also asked them if there is any way I could finance in their country - like take out a loan through them. But that will have to wait till they reply my next email.

You can see I also enquired about thigh liposuction. Thats just a maybe for me though...I might not even need it. But its good to know anyways.

It might seem expensive...but Id get my surgery done in Korean over any other country. I am Chinese, from HK but live in Canada. But I would NOT trust China or HK to get any surgery done. Especially Thailand lol. Ive seen reviews and everything...but I guess its a personal preference. Id consider going to Japan too...but...for some odd reason I can not find any clinics on google. No forums, no nothing. Which is weird. Theres a bunch of korean ones. I think Ive seen TWO Japanese clinics by googling...but no reviews...And reviews are very important lol.

Back to talking about pricing..I totally changed the topic. These prices are estimates. They gave me the highest it could go up to. And if youre only doing small enhancements like I am...Im sure itll be lower. I know for a fact mind will be lower. But I would take a loan for 20,000 CDN. Thigh liposuction cost is 3,900,000 to 4,500,000 depending on the machine.
OF course, you can have the consultation with your friend. It's up to you.
I recommend you to have the eye surgery first. After the face contouring and nose job , you will get swelling.
so it' better to have the before.
The cost of rhinoplasty is 3,200,000 to 4,500,000 and Angle reduction is 5,500,000 to 6,500,000
after 1 month, you can have normal size of the face, can meet friend well.
The skin care clinic is lacated on 2nd floor and have different system.
If you want to have the care, we can make a reservation for that.

i've just contact banobagi the representative seem very nice and reply my email very fast and detail. i'm currently searching for doctor in korea to have a nose revision as well probably with some eyes job too. i actually have received quote from 4 clinics and banobagi seem to be the most ok one. was thinking to get it done...again.... in malaysia but losing confidence on the doctor here . The korea PS work is too attractive.... especially the nose, longing to have one, only thing is got to prepare alot of cash....still working hard on that.

I'm currently looking out every where on the web searching all the info about the clinics. i've contacted 4 clinics at the moment all that have mentioned in this forum, to me banobagi gave me pretty good impression as they are very responsive and reply my emailed very quick and clear. well i still got 3 months time before i can doing anything though. when are you planning to go to korea for your surgery? i thinking on may or june depending how fast is the recovering on my nose.

I'll be there between March 16 - 25 March. I'll be doing nose revision probably at VIP. I read on some articles, to well harmonize the new nose, it'd be better to do forehead augmentation and chin advancement, too.

Banobagi finally replied my email when I sent to enbanobagi instead of paris85. The quote:
Re- rhinoplasty :5500000~6500000 (Korean Currency) using silicone, and septal for tip
****** Fat transplant on forehead:2200000~2800000
****** Fat transplant on chin:1800000~2200000

However VIP suggests not using my own fat on chin as it'll be reabsorped quickly. And they told me that dr. Lee will be doing all the surgery by himself (nose, forehead and chin). If anyone know is dr. Lee also a maxillofacial surgeon? I read that sliding genioplasty must be done by a maxillofacial surgeon. When I asked VIP about it, they didn't answer me, instead they only told me that dr. Lee will be doing all the surgery by himself.
