Best leather for a Kelly 25 or 28?

Well, your other alternatives at the moment are Box and Barenia, which are push offers, or Chèvre, which is rare in production and easier to get via A La Carte (SO).
None of these leathers will slouch; sellier Kellys do not slouch by nature of the construction. The stiffest will be Box and the softest will be chèvre, but again, a sellier 25 will always be structured.

I have all three leathers in K25 sellier; all three are beautiful; it's really up to your preference in terms of the texture, sheen, patina.

I really love smooth leather....But in picture ahahaha
I love when my stuff stay like almost brand new. I think I will consider Chevre but as you said, it seems to be only via A La Carte and I will keep this card to contrast a birkin instead of use it for a Kelly.

Hi all, new member here! Does anyone have any personal experience with veau madame on a dark colour, does it wear well or scratch easy, is there anything I should be mindful of? Asking as I am not one to baby my bags (my Kelly in clemence has held up very well in spite of this) and I was just offered a K28 in bleu nuit madame leather - would love to know your thoughts
