I recently purchased J.Crew's new'ish "CeCe" ballet flat and it's very comfy. It has a small bit of padding for a little rise in the back so you're not 100% flat footed. I went with basic black but I'm going for a fun color next time.

Just got a pair of the Chloe scallop ballet flats. They are even better than Bloch and Chanel. The leather is literally like butter, so soft and moulds to my feet perfectly. I have big and wide feet and this style will be my new go-to. Only thing they need to be re-soles right away as they sole is so soft and rather thin. Overall excellent comfy shoe!

Just got a pair of Bloch...they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. I had some Reva's and they absolutely destroyed my feet...took months to stretch out and still hurt my feet at the end of the day.

I fondled the Chloe flats recently. Just magnificent and totally buttery, like you said.

Recently got my first pair of Lanvin flats with the padding throughout. Went up half a size for my wide boat feet and they are quite comfy.

I've always had good luck with Naturalizer shoes. The mediums run a little wide, and they also carry true wide sized shoes. At only around $65 a pair they are a great buy.

I love Lanvin flats.

It took some trial and error to figure out my true size, though. I'm usually a size 8 so I figured this translated into Lanvin size 38. Those flats ended up being way too tight so I sold them. Then, I bought size 39, which I tried on in store and felt fine with. Later when I actually wore them, they started feeling tight as well. Now I wear 39.5, which fits perfectly.

So... if you go with Lanvins, make sure you get the right size! :smile1:

Just wanted to say a quick "thank you" for this thread! I have wide feet also, so this is great reference for me. I always have to size up in flats just so they are comfortable unless they are specifically marked as wide. I see a lot of you mentioning Repetto and Bloch - I have never heard of these two brands but I will have to look into them now!

So I just thought I would elaborate on my post a bit, since I have tried other designer flats. As well, I will be getting my first pair of Tods loafers on Sunday so will let you know. For reference I am US11 and EU 42. Never smaller.

Tory burch reva: took a year to finally be comfortable. I was always getting blisters. Now, after owning them for two years they are my go to Comfy flat. But I would never buy another pair.

Chanel classic cap-toe ballet: I cannot wear these in the summer when my feet swell. When I bought them I had to stretch them constantly at home with thick socks. However, now that it is nice and cold out I can wear them all day without blister or pain. This is a shoe to buy half or a whole size larger than your usual size if you have wide feet.

Bloch flats: the leather has a stretchy component to it. I noticed this and my cobbler confirmed it. These shoes are not immediately comfortable, but with time they stretch out. However, they are cheaply made and because they are stretchy leather, they will tear.

Roger Vivier flats: I have the belle Vivier version and they are not comfortable. The leather is very stiff, making them hard to stretch. They also give me bad blisters at the back of my heels. I am too scared to wear them a second time!

Miu miu flats: so comfy! They need absolutely no stretching! I highly recommend them.

Gucci flats: I have only ever tries on one pair in guccisima leather. At the time my feet were swollen from walking all day and they felt like heaven. So much room in the toe box!

Jimmy choo: patent flats are unbearable, but I have a pair of suede glitter toe with rubber sole. They were immediately comfortable from the moment I put them on! I highly recommend them!

Overall the chloe flats are the best hands down. Quality and comfort is there. I just can't say it enough!!!! LOL Miu Miu and Gucci are tied for second place, for quality and comfort.
