Thank you, Miss Dawn! I've been thinking a mono strap would be more substantial than using my Eva strap which I find a bit thin. That's very kind of you, thank you!
Love the LV Pochette, it's such a useful size. I carry it all the time on the weekend. I just got a mono strap for it (I'll tag you in case you want to find something similar) and it's great
Sorry everyone for going off topic on a Coach thread. To bring it back on topic, here's a picture of a Coach bag that is on my wish list![]()
I can certainly see the practicalities of having a backpack. Especially for an event like what you mentioned. I think it's a good idea. A pebbled leather backpack sounds perfect!I wish Coach would make more hologram pieces they’re so fun!
I found the mini backpack so handy this Summer. Even though with a shoulder or crossbody purse you are technically hands free sometimes you got to push it out of the way when your doing things. The backpack is truly hands free! I mentioned that I went to a race track a few weeks back and it was perfect for that event. I was walking around a ton and climbing stairs going in and out of buildings and racing cars [emoji23] and it was a delight to have! I’d like to get a full price version in smooshy pebbled leather.
I took out my Mercer to look at it after seeing yours, and it's such a functional bag with the zippered centre compartment and sides. I'm looking forward to using it this fall. DD has her eye on it but she left it behind (thankfully) so I'm going to carry it now. How lovely to get yours as a gift. What a special one! I'm very fond of the Coach tearoses in all the lovely ways they are presented.Thank you! I love burgundy; that sounds gorgeous on the Mercer. I received the Mercer as a gift, and it's so neat because I'd seen (and loved!) a picture of a little Mercer when I first joined TPF and didn't know if I could wear such a small bag. I really wanted a light pink bag but decided I couldn't pull off such a light shade, and it made me SO happy to get this gift and discover that the size and shade of pink are perfect for me! It's funny you mentioned embellishments because all my bags were plain and simple except for color, and now I'm learning how much fun little embellishments are!
I had to go look up the Parker you mentioned. It is really fun!
I love your thread on summer bags, katev! It's a wonderful read. I wish I had some of those fun straw, canvas and beachy bags! Maybe next year I will work on that!I'm enjoying all these lovely summery bags! One of my favorite bags this summer was my Grey Birch Willow Floral Nomad 55543 see below.
And while you are reminiscing about your beloved summery bags, be sure to check out all the fun, whimsical beauties in this thread. They will make you want to head out for a fun day in the summer sun!

I pulled out that crossbody today. I have two--one like that one, and then I have the denim canyon quilt with the skulls. I was using them more as my bags to change into for something different until I got my Dinky bags, but you made me think to pull this one out. It is fun using it again.I find summer bags a bit of a struggle. I’m on holiday during the summer so I’m not carrying my more expensive work bags. I’m out and about running errands (groceries, errands) and I’ve slowly figured out my beloved satchels are not my best choice unless I’m attending a Ladies Lunch, on holiday or shopping somewhere fun (Louis Vuitton or Coach).
This summer I really enjoyed my patchwork tearose crossbody clutch. I carried it as a wristlet or a crossbody depending upon the occasion.

I actually use a small tote most of the time in the summer. My favourite is Longchamp. I can carry my cute small Coach bags inside.

Beautiful collection! I especially like the tea roses. That charm is precious! These are the main bags I rotated through this summer. Only the kisslock is my own picture, the rest are stock photos because most of these are away until next spring. I love them all, so not posted in any particular order.View attachment 4201750View attachment 4201751View attachment 4201752View attachment 4201755View attachment 4201756
I like the charm even more than the strap! It really does make this bag extra beautiful.Thank you! And I'm really glad that I was able to get the grey birch willow floral charm to go with it, I think it really makes the bag even more special.

I love those pretty denim tearoses. It’s on my list to have a leather tearoses added to my bag to give it more texture.I pulled out that crossbody today. I agree! It makes it look the the flowers continue cascading down from the shoulder strap. If I recall, those charms weren't cheap! I have the same one.Thank you! And I'm really glad that I was able to get the grey birch willow floral charm to go with it, I think it really makes the bag even more special.
