At what point did he decide he was protective of her?

They don’t have children, he drove Jennifer Garner banana but Page six wants the public to believe that he is protective of Marie-Antoinette Lopez?

Why do we think he’s divorcing her?

Well I think he is flaky. I just looked up some of his past relationships.
1) Engaged to JLO and the canceled the wedding right before the nuptials early 2000s.
2) Meets next wife - Jen Garner - on movie set she breaks up with husband and he marries her a year or so later. (she is preggers 5-6mos at time of wedding)
3) Affleck and Garner have 3 kids and he cheats on her with the new nanny after about 10 years. Assuming no cheating during this period until the very end?
4) He has relationship with Co-star Ana de Armas - they break up.
5) Later 2021 that year he rekindles his relationship with JLO and marries her.
6) They now seem to be headed toward divorce in less than 3 years.

Most guys get this stuff out of their system in their 20s but he is still going through it.

I read that it was because she did that documentary on their relationship when he didn't want her to. She and her friends read his love letters out loud. He is a more private person, and she likes to have her life on display. I can see that as a major conflict. I saw some pics of him in the tabloids recently and he seems to be smiling a lot more now. No more resting b*tch face.

He just seems insufferable. I think it was in the “I refuse to be the ashes” interview where JG showed a bit of her true feelings (I think she has demonstrated INFINITE patience for the sake of the kids) and said that when he shines on you, the light and focus is intense and bright and like nothing else. But then he’ll turn it off and it gets very dark.

He seems to love bomb people and then turns pouty and surly and like everything is beneath him. You knew she was an attention magnet, Ben. That’s seemed to be one of the issues the first go around. So, you actually don’t get to roll your eyes and act surprised when you find yourself in that circus once you marry her.

The whole Sunset Blvd-esque forehead clutching and demands to be left alone with his Dunkin’ is ridiculously melodramatic. How these intelligent and capable women falls to his “charms” is beyond me.

ESPECIALLY with that tattoo.

Oh wow didn’t their troubles come to surface -at least for us mere mortals -once that doc came out and became public? Didn’t she fund that thing her entire self, too?!
