I thought I wouldn't like Phoebe because of compartments but love it. Very easy and comfy carry style.
I didn't like phoebe in pictures but in person it's gorgeous as can be, classic, comfy and the compartments is very handy, i don't need my purse organizer anymore.

The newest in my collection is the MK Hamilton EW Satchel in luggage I was talking to my SA the other day she told me that she track the Hamilton EW Satchel in Vanilla but It's in Nevada store and they only have 2 left in the whole company, the only thing I'm afraid of that It's not in excellent condition and I can't return it if ever since she said It went down to $279.00 anything on sale it's not returnable..What do you guys think?
Wow!! That's a nice collection! I'm thinking of parting with my MK hamilton Specchio dark khaki E/W to sell so I can get a LV Speedy DE 30 also. What is your thoughts on this and how do you rate your speedy 30??? Please help I have a buyer interested in my hamilton.
I just had to chime in on this one. I have had a LV speedy 30 in monogram for about 12 years. If I had to rate the classic qualities of this bag I would give it a 10. Now on to functionality, about a 4. I'm serious, if you get one, go for a body/shoulder strap. You will be glad you did. I honestly hate to carry it now because its handheld and so limiting. And after an inspection, I have a small split that has appeared near the handle on the coated canvas, probably from being on my wrist twisting around over the years. Thats a pull spot when you carry it by hand. My 22 yr old dd likes to carry it sometimes so I will eventually give it to her. Get the speedy with a shoulder strap.

When I went to LV I had no intention to purchase the bandouliere version, but when the SA showed it to me I knew I needed the strap. The speedy 30 is on the bigger side so carrying it by hand all the time can be very annoying. The long strap can be used crossbody or as a shoulder stap. It's great. The strap has a removable section in the middle to shorten the handle- it's pretty neat!
As far as the bag itself goes, if you've been wanting one, go for it! It's a beautiful bag that goes with everything. It's a classic for a reason!

but you've explained it better! I never thought of it this way that I would eventually get tired and need a strap for a break/ functionality. People just seem to like the other option never really stating the cons like you. I would love the Speedy B but it's like 1500.... I'll be making a decision on $600 more to spend thank you+1. Some things are just worth saving extra for. That strap will be a godsend. They were not available when I purchased mine. Its a classic style bag that has reviews that speak for itself, everyone raves about the shoulder strap.
