Wow! Good job! My husband thinks I'm bad! lol! I showed him you lists and he almost passed out. He said "don't even think about it!" lol! I just sold a bunch of my Coach bags. Making room for more Michael Kors! lol. They just blow Coach away, anymore and they are not selling as well as Michael Kors either. Seems Michael is really hot right now. I can't believe the bidding wars on even the vintage bags. Unbelievable!

I have to admit though, that Michael has an issue with their straps holding up. They need to improve in that area. I never had any problems with Coach straps. Seems they have a better design for their straps lasting the life of the bag. I see many used Michael Kors listed on eBay and usually any damage is on the straps. Hope Michael has figured this to be a problem and is correcting it. I am sure that is what most of their repair returns are for. Otherwise, the rest of the bag holds up really well. The biggest thing that is better about them is their style designs. They have so many wonderful styles to choose from. much more than Coach.

I agree that eBay is the best way to go. I could see listing overseas as being a problem. That is where most of the fakes are listed. Folks overseas need to get the word out about the criminals who are making those fakes. Perhaps if more were aware of what they are supporting, they would stop buying them. I post articles about it all the time on my facebook page. All of my friends and family are totally aware now, thanks to me. Many had no idea! The worst part is the child slave labor that is used to produce those fakes. I am sure if the public was aware of this, they would not support it. We need to get the word out!

Ha! It has become more of an expensive hobby I think. I didn't pay full price for any of them which is one of the reasons I have so many. Its so hard to walk away from a deal.

Your husband is right! Don't let this happen to you! :-)

I think it's too late and he knows it! lol! Yes, it is hard to pass up a deal. I never pay full price for mine either. I love eBay, but you have to be careful. There are so many dang fakes on there it is ridiculous. Thank goodness I can tell the difference. I see so many people buying them it is sad. They probably don't even know they just bought a fake!

That's funny you say that about eBay. I have recently gotten two messages from buyers asking me to be honest when they questioned the authenticity of my MK Hamilton. I was honest when I made the listing; however, it just speaks to the true number of fakes out there. Good for them for questioning. I always send more pictures along just in case. I want to make sure people are clear on the item they are purchasing as I have purchased/received items that were different than those pictured in the listing. Soooo frustrating.

I just refer them here. I think that bag is one of the most common fakes I see on eBay.

Yes, the Hamilton is highly faked. I see them all the time. Also the Fulton is another one. I see even more Fultons than Hamiltons. Not sure why.

Perhaps ease? I saw a young lady at the MK store in Raleigh (NC) arguing with her friend about not going into the store because she was afraid the SA's would see her fake bag. It was a Fulton. :nono:

Yes, ease No, if it was a Michael Kors store they would never sell fakes, unless it was a booth set up outside or something like that and I am quite sure they would call the police! lol! They never sell fakes in the Michael Kors stores. What does happen sometimes , is people will actually replace a real bag with a fake, and then walk out with the real one!! I have heard reports of this scam from ladies right here on this purse forum. I think the Fultons are easier and cheaper to duplicate, because they don't have to make a lock and key. I have reportd so many fake Fultons, I can't count. Many have animal print interior linings on them and they are very obvious fakes.

If you shop on eBay in the lower price bracket, you will find many fakes listed . Please report them! I do not like being in the same company as these fraudsters. I try to keep eBay as safe as an environment to sell authentic bags as possible, Please help. Thank you.

The MK store wasn't selling fakes. The young girl didn't want to go into the MK store because she was carrying a fake bag and was embarrassed.

Are you talking about the n/s red quilted hippie grommet hamilton??
If so, I have eyeballed that bag for months. I bought the blk w sh but still think about the red one. Its a lot going on in red but I still kinda want it.
