No problem....I am still learning about MK bags too. I was a Coachie for so many years now I have branched out to MK.

Have you looked at the Jet Set tote? I have the one with a zipper close. I too, like to be able to zipper my bag when I stick it under the seat in front of me on a plane. I can post a pic of it if you like. It's in the saffiano leather which I think it great for travel, will hold it shape and take some abuse from travel also.

I have looked at that style and it sounds interesting. I like the monogram e/w, but also I am eyeing the Grayson medium chain satchel because it has the detachable crossbody strap. I have a monogram wristlet with vachetta straps and I could use that strap also on the wristlet. So many decisions, and not enough money! I'm trying to hold on until Macy's F & F near Thanksgiving!

I understand wanting the detachable straps. One reason I did not love the Hamilton. I really love that about the Bedford. And the suoer uber soft leather too.:smile1:

Good luck finding the one you love. It is fun shopping for the HG bag. I think the Bedford is my new HG bag. Of course I'll know more after I move in next week.

Argh! So Macy's finally replied that they cannot guarantee me the silver hardware bag, so they'll be happy to reimburse it. Okay, but I still want the bag! So a couple of days ago I saw it on Endless as well, and on sale, too (this was before I had even received the faulty bag).

Of course, Endless turned into Amazon.com/fashion now, and you cannot find the bag there anymore... On eBay the sellers of two of those bags ship only to US. On the MK site the bag can be back ordered (I want it now!!) and I can only imagine the postage they'll charge me (special over-the-phone international order with extra delivery fees). :censor:

What did you decide to do? Did you find the silver HW bag or are you keeping one with gold HW?

So I actually just yesterday ordered the silver HW bag directly from Michael Kors ($$$), and the courier is picking up the return package to Macy's today... I tried to look for the bag everywhere and especially eBay, but no luck... Oh well, this way I can be sure I will be receiving what I want :D

I hear ya.....I paid full price for my Bedford and my Jet Set tote. I just had to have them! So I understand completely.

So happy you will be able to have the one you want and not have to settle for a bag you aren't completely in love with.

I have some issues with my Bedford satchel.. A part of the gold hardware had chipped off, showing the plastic inside and the pebbled leather finish somewhere on the upper part just straightened out.. :-( anybody else have this problem?

Oh no....this is awful! When did you get your Bedford? Can you post a few pictures?

I hope this doesn,t happen to my bag.

Can you call MK or return it to the place you bought it? At least call them? Sonds defective to me.

I bought it in the states, but I'm from the Philippines so I really don't know how to return it, will try talking to the local mk store SA's here and ask how to go about it. I'm having issues uploading the pics, but when I get a better connection I'll do so.
