Barenia croc/alligator Birkin

I have been given a very serious confirmation darling!!!!!!!!!!! it's alligator tanned and crafted the way barenia leather is done. it's alligator because its the only skin that can resist the treatment and oils and well the barenia process,I'm told it will age and generate patina like barenia does including sense and even prone to scratches but its beautiful !!!!!!

I wonder what the patina on the exotic will look like. Wonder if it smells like traditional barenia bags and how it's different from marron d'inde gator that I have.

Birkel - you are a star! Thank you so much for this information. I really am excited now! I spoke to my store and Paris have advised them that even though it has appeared in Le Monde they not available to order yet, so I guess I'll have to wait and see. Fingers crossed......

I was also going to wait for more information on the Barenia Gator, but this came to my local store and it has a rubis interior (like the kelly eclat style). Now i will wait for you ladies to make your barenia gator purchases in future.

Adia Daphne .. lucky you, I saw a Dogon in maroon d'inde over the summer and it's is stunning! Had it been this combination I would have seriously considered handing over my c/c .. Love this eclat

On le monde d'hermes there's a picture of a 35 birkin in alligator barenia. The price is higher than a regular alligator and it says it's treated as barenia leather with the same oil process....
