Wow, thats a lot of bling, jingle , jingle, lol.

Perhaps you could post a pic showing your armful of bangles.

Oy vay ... I get teased about the number of bangles that I wear on both arms (my colleagues hear me coming from a mile away ... ).

Let's see ... on my left arm, I'm usually wearing:
  1. Two - 24k Yellow Gold "Masai" Bracelets
  2. Three - Ippolita 18k/Diamond "Star" Bracelets
  3. Two - 22k/Diamonds Linda Lee Johnson Bangles
  4. One - 18k/Turquoise David Yurman "Orbit" Bangle
  5. One - 18k/2.5+ ct Diamond Bangle Bracelet
  6. Three - 18k Me + Ro "bead" bracelets (Turquoise beads, Coral Beads, Pearl Seed beads)
  7. One - 18k & Turquoise "Evil Eye" Link Bracelet
  8. One - 22k/Turquoise Beads Reinstein Ross Link Bracelet
  9. One - 18k Skull Heads Luis Morais Cuff
  10. One - 18k Link Bracelet w/ Heart and "floating" Diamonds
On my left arm:
  1. David Yurman - S/S & 18K, Turquoise & Pink Tourmaline 10mm Renaissance Cuff Bracelet
  2. Two - Platinum & Rose Cut Diamonds Bangle Bracelets (Malcolm Betts)
  3. One - 18k/Diamonds Bead Bracelet (Devon Page McCleary) w/ various Diamond "charms" (Reinstein-Ross)
... I have many more, I just don't have enough room on my arms    !!

A single, wide, statement bangle looks gorgeous. :D

But with narrower bangles, I would always wear an odd numbered stack, which, altogether, measures at least 1 1/2" wide.

I have a single gold bangle that I wear on my right wrist. It was a wedding present from my husband and its engraved with mushiness, which makes it priceless. I wear it alone, or I mix it up wth a gold charm bracelet.

I like stacked bangles, but my husband says I have to wait for our anniversary! LOL

Angelica Houston wears bangles very well.

Is anyone familiar with the brand Angelique de Paris? That company has beautiful jewelry, and not very expensive! Their bagles are adorable!!! I recommend looking- Angélique de Paris

does anyone own Angelique already? I only have a ring (the Contessa) but I want the bangle to match now!

Maybe you could post a short video, or a some high-res or whatever they call it those large pictures, pictures on a camera, with the bangles, Im curious you ended up with different designs and brands, usually people by them in sets.

I have a purple Jade bangle as well... i wear it all the time as i cant get it off... lol the little Vietnamese lady that i bought it from in Vietnam nearly broke my hand trying to put it on, so that sucker aint ever coming off... lucky for me its pretty subtle...

LOL! I've heard about that jade bangle thing. The smaller the better, even if you must lotion or oil the hand & get bruised fitting it over the hand. They do have to be broken to take them off. I haven't the nerve yet but they look *so pretty*! I have a couple of acquaintances that have them and they look awesome. :heart:I think my weight fluctuates too much to commit to one. Could be an incentive though. lol.

i like some of the Ippolita bangles.

To answer the first question, if you're petite, a single thin bangle can work IMO. I also like odd numbers. 1, 3, 5... Longer arms can stack more.

If you like how it looks, go for it!

When I think of bangles, I think of those teensy tiny little shiny things, and when I wear them, it is usually a Festive Occasion, and I pile them on accordingly and ruthlessly, but if I remember that "bangle" can also be of any width, and blinged out the kazoo, then one might be plenty, depending on your outfit and what other bling you are wearing.

what of males wearing a jade bangle? I was messing around the other day with a jade bangle I got for my wife. It is to big on her at 63mm so I tried it on. It went on with a bit of effort and I really thought I could get it off. I have worn it 6 days now and even tried crisco to remove it. It will not budge. So now I am stuck with it unless I break it which I do not want to do. But on the other hand men do not usually wear bangles.
I like it and it feels nice but feel awkward since it is not the real manly thing to do. what do you all think? Leave it or break it?
